Dev Client

Post by Mr.Oldie »

Dev client (2.1.20.4-46-g3657d19) keeps shutting down.
The window closes but the process seems to be running in background.
The game gets saved when the client vanishes.

Reproduce:
Use a tool with static item to craft.
When the total number of items entered in queue finishes the window closes.

Note:
The crafting when interupted due to other incidents like due to exhaustion or moving of character doesnt seem to close the client.

The differences i seem to notice in crafting:
there is no default 1 present in the crafting queue amount.
Enter doesnt seem to work for activating the crafting.

Someone please create a mantis report for this. i kinda forgot my id there.

The lighting is awesome.
But the old 'unsmoothness' still occurs when the character is on a bridge.
(light source in belt + night time ofcourse)

This could be it... it is probably best to just make a new account in Mantis if someone here can't help you find your old one? :) PM Nitram.

The smooth light sadly only works on tiles. Items can't be rendered like this. :( And as bridges are items there is sadly no way to get them rendered smooth.

@nitram:
Thanks for the quick fix with the crafting. Works perfectly now.
Btw that thing about lighting not smooth on items; its smoother on wall tiles somehow. Is there something different between walls and bridges?
Seems like there is. Whatever you are doing with walls if you can implement it with bridges then it would be cool.

There is no difference what so ever between walls and bridges. Sorry. If they appear different it's a illusion.
