"You logged in twice!"

This message appears and stops you from logging into illarion...it happens sometimes after you log out even though you have NOT logged in twice. It can get quite annoying especially for people like me who have horrible computers that break down all the time and get disconnected from illarion a lot and need to get back in a lot too...closing illarion altogether sometimes helps, but sometimes it doesn't. Any help or effort to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

This sometimes happens to me when I get kicked from the server (Usually that happens when I am running KaZaa behind, it slowers my connection quite a bit), and only thing that has helped me has been restarting computer.

When you get disconnected, you don't log out, the server still has you logged in. After your charcter gets timed out then you can log in again.

Just be patient and wait.

Yeah well, for me it isn't that big thing anyways (Because it is matter of minute or two and I am back in, even by restarting my computer).

why not more easy?

only disconnect from internet and reconnect... hmm sometimes it cost more but here at me it's a more easy alternativ to the restart the computer.

you musn't do it but its only more easy

you don't need either.
all you need to do is wait.
there is nothing you can do to speed up the time needed until you are booted from the server (you may only shorten how you feel the time passing by...)

Disconnecting from the internet or not has nothing to do if the server thinks you are still logged in or not. If you don't close down the client normally, the server still thinks you are logged in.

Nothing you do to your computer will do anything to fix that, until your character times out of the server.

Reboot, reformat, reconnect, throw it out the window, doesn't matter. You just gotta wait and try again. It should take about 2 minutes.

Yes, I have noticed this. I logged out of my character (to turn the sound on.) I then logged back in right away. It gave the message. After I logged out and waited around 3 seconds, I was able to log in. It doesn't take that long. The only very small problem I had, is when I had to wait around two minutes to log in. I'm not picky though, I was able to log on at some point. Two minutes isn't much.

Ha ha! I have found away around this! ( I have win 98 SE Btw ) Whenever it says that I have tried to log in twice. I get out my cntrl alt del box and try to shut down explorer. Then do cancel when it asks me if I wanna shut down or restart or anything. Then I wait aprx... 20 seconds or less and it tells me that Explorer has stoped responding blah blah.. So I choose end task. My screen flashs and BAM im back into Illarion. This has always worked!

<sigh> you still don't get it, right?
the only reason this works is you *wait*...
you can throw your computer out of the window and buy a new one to "solve" this problem as well... it will work for the same reason... it takes time until you can reconnect.
nothing you do to your computer will affect the server... there is *nothing* you can do... except to *wait*

Hehe I wouldnt have posted it if it took THAT long. Takes me about 40 seconds. Becauses ONCE It took me 10 minutes for it to stop saying that! Drove me insane!
