Wrestling is pointless I tested on the ts and a full warrior build with level 100 couldn't even lower another char with only 38 wrestling down to wounded.

I simply suggest taking it out, as it was suggested in mantis, theres no more point for it.

Disagreeing it is pointless, unarmed combat has in the past been based on skill. The soulpain spider which I believe also uses wrestling (if go by the graphic) would better represent the level if wrestling did more damage. Perhaps use Athian's suggestion of "gloves" to add to the skill like a sword would add to a slashing skill.. not sure on that but I think it is a shame to delete a skill that is one of the oldest medieval styles of fighting.

I am curious why even bother to consider deleting the skill.... is it worrisome, how does it hinder fighting today?

Two wrestlers that combat can be interesting to watch, a wrestler can also kill some low level monsters depending on skill. Granted it is a skill not used as much now as previously. How many chars have the skill and use it some, I have two chars that use it, both fighters and learned it to combat tying with a rope but one uses it for RP purposes among actual fighting. Skill is >50%

I would ready see wrestling be made useful than gotten rid of. I like the idea of gloves adding damage. Maybe boots too. I like to kick.

An all new money sink... wrestling gloves and boots, maybe headgear, brass knuckles ....some can possibly be accomplished using the same graphic, simply add a bonus for wrestling.

I would rather seen it made useful than eliminated as well. Just because a character doesn't have a weapon at hand doesn't mean s/he is too dumb to fight.

This might be a dumb question but if you don't have the wrestling skill can you still get by fighting bare handed even if it don't do anything yet and also if two characters were to fight one with the skill and one with out is there a diffennce in damage dealt at the moment jw.

Theres no difference, no. At least not with someone who has a high con score. you can have 20 wrestling or 100 and still not do enough damage to someone with 17 or more constitution. If they wear armor then theres no damage at all.
