Dear citizens and visitors of Cadomyr alike,
Avariel Quessiriel was apprehended by myself from Runewick, and was brought under Queen's custody for attacking a mother named Liasany and her two children in Galmair, both three days of age at the time of the crime. The three were unharmed.
I have been tasked by Chancellor Anthar Vilicon to gather testimonies about the event in a public post, which I will pin next to this parchment.
(( I might write more or make a reply later, this is just the initial information that I could quickly type out ))

Re: Avariel in custody
This is Liasany's testimony about the attack. Let it be known that the Archmage Elvaine Morgan does NOT consider the "Drow" mentioned in this testimony a monster, but rather an elfess. (( I only changed the words that didn't make any sense in the English context, sorry to PO Liasany! ))

This next part has more to do with an earlier situation where Avariel got his motive from.Liasany wrote:I was in the workshop of Galmair and was working on. my children, then just three days old, I carried with me. Suddenly I heard footsteps and when I turned around there was Avariel.
He said. "Now you pay your insults at the deathbed of my wife," And then he shot, just missing me and my children just barely. I had to run to protect me and my children.
He would not let me get a word in. ((the next part could either be quoting Avariel, or Liasany saying she did not offend the "drow", so I didn't change anything in it)) I have this Drow, which he referred to as his wife, not offended.
Liasany wants to press charges for the attack on her and her two children.Liasany wrote:I even wanted to help him, when I saw that the drow was seriously injured.
I understood the situation patently false and blamed him for the violation of the Drow. Everyone knows that he is cheating on Gina and flirts with every woman.
i thought that it was his fault that she was attack from Vern. As i came Vern attack her and she go to ground. It was very chaos and i need a while to unterstand what happening. But...the drow was dead and Avariel gone. it is not good was Vern has done.
I called him an adulterer, and said he should rather take a whore, rather than women to break the heart. Or to bring it right into the grave. Was my mistake that I understood the situation wrong. I would have also told him yet, but I came to no more unfortunately.
I asked the audience what happened, but it was so much chaos and I only got a reply as some rest stopped off. I thought it would be Avariels fault that the drow was attacked.

Re: Avariel in custody
I Vern Burnhammer do not condone his actions but yet I will testify fer leniency on his part. Also I will offer support to tha families who were victimized during this chaos. Also I will stand trial if need be about this creature which I have slain. But first I would like te see tha people understand tha this wos not a preconceived plan and tha unfortunate situations really took a twisted turn to make tha god of chaos proud.
Re: Avariel in custody
Thank you for your input Vern, it will surely be considered when the incident with the "Drowess" comes up. However, this particular case has to do with Avariel's attack on Liasany.
I have received the following statement from the elfess Meriel Pelith in Runewick:

Before I go into a report about the incident with Liasany, I'd first like to make a statement about Avariels condition at the time and how it came about.
As many are already aware this series of unfortunate events occurred after a magic lesson in Runewick. Avariel volunteered to assist me in the lesson to allow me merging minds with him to see a simple childhood memory of his.
While I will not go into details what exactly happened, it should suffice to say that the memory was not a pleasant one as originally intended and the abrupt ending of the ritual left Avariel in a disoriented state. At this point I'd like to point out that normal side effects of a ritual like this are headache and disorientation, but not to the degree that Avariel has experienced them. A radical change of character is not a common sideffect of a ritual like this, nor is long-term amnesia. It is the belief of Djironnyma and the archmage that Avariel used the ritual consciously as an excuse to perform these deeds. I'd like to mention that this is not my personal opinion, I still consider myself a friend of his and would not go as far to accuse him of such.
Pertaining to the incident with Liasany itself I would like to confirm that at the time when Liasany was giving birth to her two lovely children, Avariel was stalking the area around the Hemp Necktie, getting access to her room in an attempt to hurt her. Only thanks to Ranwyln and Caldarion this was not achieved. I hope that Ranwyln and Caldarion will be able to give a more detailed statement.
For the attack on Liasany and her children in Galmair – I was not present at the time. I only heard from the attack from Liasany a while after.
Should there be any further questions in regards to these incidents, or the incidents around the drowess, I'm willing to write another statement.
