I have set ever thing up and it says hvae a too new or too old verison. i have teh patch instald and i have the newest veison of the cliont downloded. ( i use windows 98 )

Uh huh.... Well first I ASSUME you CAN play with a character... Cause if your name is "apeman" You cant go anywhere NEAR this game... Second make sure its not installed on your desktop but in a folder such as Mydocuments. Then tell us what happens.

ya i was figer the stuff out of my self so my i guess ha i did was reunzip it and it worked fine and than t said my chrters are not reg. ( i can't spell ) and how long dose it take of a reg. of a charter????? beasue i enterd kie today and i was woundering when i can play him online.

apeman...it takes quite a while to get your character approved (several weeks in some cases) for play...check the Account board and Newbie board for more information.

Also, if English is not your native lauguage there is a German counterpart as well, if that helps.

This and the name is not good...it's against two name rules:

kie -> No 3-4 letter names.
kie -> the first letter should be a big one, like Kie

I don't think 3-4 letter names are COMPLETELY banned. Just frowned on.
They have to be really good ones.

capital letter + a bunch of letters that sound ok and make no sense = name. simple, easy, why its so hard to understand is beyond me.

It's not that simple. You wouldn't want to try to roleplay a conquering warlord who plans to take over the entire island who has a name like Weisly, or Puderton.
It takes a lot of thought to pick a name that sounds good for the role, yet has not already been used anywhere in the known universe.

No it dosent, I stole the name guingalan from somewhere, anyone guess where?

Also I have a big list of names that have been used by historical figures, and they're all great for this game. Only thing is, no one has ever heard of them.
