cant switch off music

with the new client 2.1.8
i cant switch off the music
plays all the time

any suggestion what i can do?

* playing GER
* music is not marked at the option menu

did ENG player get the new client earlier?

with client 2.1.7 i had not this problem

with client 2.1.8 i got this problem

temporarily solved with disable the effects in the option menu too

p.s. playing in GER

The language does not matter for this problem.

Did you try enabling the music but setting the volume to 0 ? That might work to.
I'll check in any case what causes this problem.

Yes, i had tried this too ((marker full left & music without checkmark))

only switch off effects too works
than no music & no effects

I already had music unchecked and volume to 0, yet with the latest update, it made no difference, suddenly I had music and was unable to get it to stop except unclick effects.

I too have music that I can not turn off.. only cure is to turn the volume control down... but then you loose effects.. that we need to hear...

This hasn't changed since the major update, it is amazing how disabling sound effects decreases the effect of the game IMO. I would love to just delete music totally if possible.

The only option control that works with sound is to turn all off or on. Apparently not even volume control works.
