It was a cold, dark night. Simeon lay in the dirt outside of an orcish hut. He was burned beaten and bruised, truly left for dead this time, but he glanced at the stars and pulled himself up.
The following morning a large orc slave master stumbles out and laughs at the blood stains and the missing elf. "won be long outta there elfin! Beh deads already ib me say so," says the orc.
Acturious, a scouting mage saw the elf and took him in. The mage used his healing magic and rituals over many months before Simeon was recovered enough to stand. But when he did Acturious discovered the Elf gone. Simeon boiled with unnatural rage from the generations of slavery he had endured, he had finally broke down. He came to the hut he once knew and put it to the torch. He murdered the slave master's son before his eyes with a small knife and then murdered both the master and his mate.
For months Simeon ran, confused, guilty, and scarred. He tries a new life in Galmair... people are kind and he feels welcome. But the gods struck him with his conscience, ever watching, always bringing back those deeds.
In the Galmair Market place his slumped body can be found with his wrists cut deeply...

Re: Simeon's End - Ode to Simeon
Days later after the discovery of the body, in its former place a short message and a lavender flower can be found. Perhaps it is a memorial to the fallen man. Any who might care to read the message left behind would see the words;
Simeon..just met... and now a new friendship ended... you will be missed. There was another way - there always is.

Re: Simeon's End
It was already late in the night, when a tall guy entered Galmair. It was quiet in the town already, but anyway, his glance did run around, search anything. His cloak and his armor was full of little mud splashs from his long day at the undead isle. Nearly he walked over the little message on the ground. In the last moment he did notice the flowers and the message, crouched down and did read them with a candle in his hand. Carefully he did put the burning candle beside the flowers and the message. Did mumble quietly: "May a light burn in such a dark houer"
Some time ago, the tall man left again the town.
