Townsfolk, lend me your eyes...Lyrenzia case?

Post by Xerake »

Xerake begins to write on a dark brown piece of parchment in bitter frustration...

I come to tell of my recent encounter with Bumbol Woodstock...

We were conversing as he was mining, and he says I'm not so mysterious. I come to him in order to introduce my new last name to him, Slade, and he holds in his laughter. I say it was an idea of Lourlize, and he begins to claim that I'm a slave, or something ridiculous like that because of my loyalty...so then, he begins talking about Lourlize in a very...perverted nature. I simply couldn't stand the comments anymore, so I told him to take it back, or else. Then the little creep begins running off! I had to dispatch of him. When I came back into the town gate, I found a moderate amount of coal and iron ore in a pile. I decide to take it, because it was simply laying there.

Bumbol, not even letting me explain, comes back to call me awful names and calls me a thief because I took the iron and the coal, which I didn't even know was his. He also refers to me as a bully, although I recall him doing the same thing to me when I insulted him and made a run for it at a time where his skill in combat surpassed mine.

Then, I got angry, as he insulted the entire Lizard race altogether...now I take pride in my race, and I don't want to see some ignoramus blabbing garbage about it. Rather than killing him, I decided to keep the iron and coal until he took the harsh insult back. I didn't threaten him this time, all he had to do was say 'sorry' or some weak little apology. Just a sign that he acknowledges that insulting my race was overboard, and he would get his precious ore back. He simply said 'go ahead, kill me, you're sick, I hate you' etc...so I did what he asked me to do, and he was on his way.

Then Grant Herion comes by...he claims I insulted him when I first met him, although to this day, he doesn't tell me what that insult was, or can even prove I insulted him. Even if I did, which I doubt, I didn't refer to his race as trash and impose perverse little comments toward him. So what does he do without warning? He's too much of a coward to fight me hand to hand, man to man, but I'm a druid. I can't handle magic very well. That's right, he casts magic! It consisted of:

paralysis
paralysis
paralysis
paralysis
lightning bolt
paralysis
paralysis
paralysis
poison cloud

Another note, Bumbol also threatens to send all of his hobbit buddies after me. Frankly, I'm on good terms with Crosis, Hermie, Viola, etc. and I don't want to wage a war on an entire race because of the actions of an angry halfling...

In short, I accuse Bumbol Woodstock of implication of hostile conspiracy, and Grant Herion of a random, unjustified attack against me. I also accuse him of property damage to the southern defense wall near the tavern to the south, using magical fires. He was burning it earlier while I was collecting herbs...

Grant does indeed fight like a coward and Bumbol is indeed a very angry little hobbit.

I think some special action is needed against Grant.

This sounds like a case that should be taken up with Lyrenzia... Let us hope they think it so.

Grant is a very... shady character... Thats all I'll comment, but this should be brought up with Lyrenzia.

Xerake,

It seems you are asking other people's opinion about whether or not to make a case, but you didn't directly ask for a trial, so if that is what you want, then confirm it.

Fights!!

Post by Hades »

Hi

Is it realy worth bringing people up in trial and making them exiles over a stupid little feud?? We should prepare for a monster invasion and not fight each other!!

Erm, If the people we are putting up for trial are causing more desruption than the monsters will then yes.

And I am aware Xerake took care of it, I was there, and it was perfectly executed.
