Seeking the help of an Elder of Troll's Bane

Post by paul laffing »

Paul laffing lugs a big, empty book with him to the public forums. He take a quill out and writes on the forums:

I seek help writing down all the history of Troll's Bane. It is a big task, I know, but I feel it must be done. I shall also write current events and weather for the records. Thank you for your time.

Signed,
Paul Laffing

Paul Laffing struggles to carry the book to the library.

Ask me if I care if the Greyrose is doing this.

Paul looks like he doesn't care.

Thats settled then.

I want to do this, even if it is only for my own reference.

I believe someone did, but I am working on a more comprehensive book that also has recent events in it.

Bingem didn't you just say the Grey Rose did already do it? Good luck Paul, I am sure many of your questions will be answered in the library.

Dear Paul Laffing,

some of the inhabitants of the town (not the Grey Rose) have just finished a chronicle of Troll's Banes history from the beginning. It is about 19 sides long and exists yet in one of our languages.
As far as we have print it, it will be visible for the public.
The only problem is, that we need good translaters, which will bring this chronicle in our other language.
So you needn't take such an effort yourself, cause the work is allready done.

Sincerly

Let him, if it doesn´t care him that a "new" chronic from the history of Trollsbane is only a waste of time. I am sure it is no adversity for the other folk, if Paul Laffing is distracted from the Shop board, have other things to do.

And his background-review will be definitely better, of course....

The book is in progress, but it is so far very rough around the edges.

I'd be willing to attempt to translate the chronicles into my native language. Assuming the original version isn't. It may vary slightly from the original.
((I can't provide you with direct translations, but I can use a rough translator tool and then embelish the translation, and make it coherent.))

I didn't make the list of citizens. It is courtesy of Lyrenzia.

He is still part of trollsbane's history, and if Lyrenzia's list is inaccurate change it .

How can you apply the Lyrenzia list of registered voters to show the present and past inhabitants of our island?!

If that is how you are proceeding, yer plan is doomed to fail already...

I only put the official list of citizens. I'm going to add new people as I see them.

That would bring us back to Guingalan's note, how will you "see" people who died a long time ago, but were very important in the history of our town?

I guess I will put them in if someone can give me more information about them. I also hope to have biographies, maybe? But that all depends on how much help I get.

If you show yourself in town, I will put you on, but otherwise, I don't know if you exist.

Paul smiles.
