Lag from nowhere...

Hey all.

After awhile of not playing Illarion, I came back to play. Its been a month or so. What do I get? LAG. It was never like this before. I usually never got lag. I redownloaded it and everything, but I didnt change any of my character files (In the folders). I didnt change anything on my computer, except get Direct X 9.0 and updated my drivers for my sound and video card. I have a 2.6 ghz computer, 512mb of ram, and fiberoptics! What do you think could be wrong?

You might take a look at the posting right at the top of the board. It has recently been discovered that the use of certain graphics drivers cause horrible lag to the Illarion client.

hey..now dont hold me on this but I BET you have an Nvida chipset Graphics card and you have just installed the lates driver. If so (see sticky Nvida graphics card users, did you not see it?) Roll back your dirver to an earlyer version I know for sure; 41.09_win2kxp works fine with Illarion. I am still testing other out for Illarion compatability.

I dont know why in hell the Graphics card driver makes the game lag..I dont see the conection. But it does, the game plays like your on a laged up 14.4k modem then the server will boot you for having a slow connection.
