Lawyer needed

Post by Hew Keenaxe »

Can't pay much, nor can ya expect a victory. but I would be very grateful to have one of words help me slide past these bastards. I can't discuss my case here but very soon I be before the might of the Trollsbane government. I just wish to give a fair fight.

Cay places a parchment under one she has read, then read again.

Sir,
I don't know any lawyers. A druid is bound by their codex to be neutral however if you need someone without any preconceived ideas.

Cay, Hew didn't show up for the trial so his sentence will be passed without him. You were there to wait for him with the Judge so I'm surprised you're offering your help to him when it's too late.

S'rrt,

You mean that talk when I was entangled in the yarn? The latest parchment from Felix on the board said everyone was giving him one chance to arrange to come to the hearing. If his sentencing is done then I will remove my parchment.

It seems my trial was held while I was drinkin at Borgates. I still haven't been formally informed of their decision. The Captain of the Guard hinted that I was innocent and free to go. I look forward to hear from the Judge concernin this.
Thanks for the offer of help, but it seems it may be too late.

Hew, let's not twist my words. I never spoke of you being "innocent". I said it may be something along the lines of the sentence having been served because your sentencing has been waiting so long. I also said not to take my word for it so don't take it as an official ruling.
