Insufficient performance

I have been without internet for 4 months and just got hooked back up. I have enough speed to stream video and run all my other applications, but when I try to play Illarion I get this message "Insufficient performance. Try reducing framerate and graphics quality" I have tried in reducing steps to lower the framerate down as low as 10 and have tried 24 and 16 bit color options too. In any setting, my character is very slow to load and once is fully visible on screen, I get dropped and the same message. Any ideas? I have made sure I am fully updated and have noticed no problems running anything else.

Problem solved. It was a lack of openGL with my video card. But thanks for all the help.
