Problems with Druidry

One of my characters has drank the Druid potion, and even made a couple of simple potions, but she still has not gotten the first rune. I received the message saying she was a Druid, and she has the Alchemy skill, but when I hold alt, no book comes up. I've logged 3 times since drinking the potion, and everyone IG seems to be stumped as well. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Try testing another key, have heard of it happening once to magic alt key also.. seems the keys got mixed on the keyboard, I forgot what was eventually held.

Right alt turns the cursor into a wand, but no book... left alt does nothing at all.

Try ctrl and shift also.

Just turns the cursor into a sword, like pressing ctrl alone
