A number of old parchments have been moved around or transcribed and placed neatly. They seem to be out of context but the point is clear. Some parchments are left alone while others have added markings.

I hope that the power of just two temple members and one ally would be enough for the guards of Bane to realize their flawed goals. Our numbers are larger than is known. A war shall not end well.

For clarity, we have no interest in Bane. It is a petty town in our eyes.

A warrent, is hereby issued by the TrollsBane Town Guard Majority. For the Arrest and Containment of Mrs. Joxia Doral and for Mr. Dain Laiden both whom are members of the Temple.
Mr. Dain, struck down a Trollsbane Guard, during a patrol inside the Town borders and there fore wanted for questioning and for fines. Mrs. Doral, is wanted for Questioning of Allegiance, and for Encouraging Violent acts, inside the Town of TrollsBane. The Town asks that they turn themselves in peacefully, so no more harm may come of this inccendent.

Those seeking refuge from other towns and establishments will find refuge within the halls of the town should they require it. The Overlord reserves the right to select those that ask for membership, by his own choosing. In the case of kidnap or ransom, fugitives are subject to be traded for citizens of the town that are jailed by other factions, or their worth in silver, unless they receive the status of town citezen.

To all who will call themselves warriors for love, life and liberty read these words,

The list of crimes the cultists, once followers of Bjolmur, now worshipping their leader Nalzaxx, is long and varied and we all know what it is. Murder, the four murders commited by S.R. an agent of Nalzaxx, Kidnapping of many people from all the lands, slaughter of Alli Zelos for trying to live her life without Nalzaxx and dozens of raids in Trolls Bane led by the lesser ranks of this evil entity.

This is all factual and beyond any doubt or question, yet even still people stand to protect these servants of malcontent. The leaders of Greenbriar stand shoulder to shoulder with these people, the orcs Hu'greu and Grunith both protected the foul cultists Ku and Gort in melee combat and even still mortals of human and elven origin swear their blades to protect some of these people.

Why I ask you all, why do you all wage this half assed war? Do you all not realize you will never win this war on the temple if you continue to fight with one arm, keeping your other arm tied behind your back? If you wage war on the temple you must fight all their friends who will protect them and give them solace, or else you will never win and end this war.

The simple fact is Dusty Bottoms, in his infinite wisdom protects the cultists in his town. Dusty Bottoms who attacked myself when I tried to bring Richard Martins to justice. Dusty Bottoms who tried to buy me off from this war with the temple by offering me a sizeable amount of raw resources for my own use. And Maggie Kemoc is equally seen socializing with Ku Agor and Richard Martins, both people who every other day attack Trolls Bane. Yet no one tells them to stop their actions, yet Maggie Kemoc has the courage to say that I, Stephen Rothman, am working for the temple, quietly serving Darlok whom I spoke with for 2 minutes in total, Maggie Kemoc who said I lured demon skeletons to Varshikar when I was chasing Richard Martins who opened a portal to Varshikar in the middle of the skeleton forest and I, Stephen Rothman, let him get away because I knew that tho the demon skeleton could not be beaten by Maggie Kemoc alone, and equally Maggie Kemoc sends her grunts to attack me under false pretences already mentioned above. And yet I refrain from declaring war on both of these leaders, not because I fear my ability to kill them, I fear the reaction of this island anymore.

Does this island want to stop this temple, or do you want to embrace this temple. YOU all must now write down what you want to do. To lay down your blade, accept the temple will raid Trolls bane several times a week, or to finally stop this madness. To tell your leaders they must now organize like they said they would when the terribly governor rothman was out of power, against the temple.

I no longer wield the army I once wielded and I cannot stop the temple on a whim any longer. For better or worse I am no longer the one who can do this, it is now up to all of you, the people of this island, to decide your fate.

Trollsbane will no longer be tolerating those who kidnap and kill, or those who aim to support these acts without condemnation. The individual known as Richard Martins is banned from town. Any unfortunate incidences of theft, assault, or murder on this individual will be ignored by the justice of the town. He is to be taken into custody or slain on sight, whichever you fancy most.

If Mayor Dusty Bottoms refuses to acknowledge this wrongdoing, then he will face a temporary ban from Trollsbane. Richard was involved in the kidnap of a Trollsbane official, and was also actively present within the temple while myself, Aurora, Tink, and all the other victims were there. He can choose to further ignore this, in which case that will draw an even more direct connection between him and the temple, and will be temporarily banned for safety purposes.

For some reason, this individuals name also appears on the Varshikar citizen list and militia list. We ask leaders there to remove his name and condemn these cowardly actions from the temple.

Members of the temple can no longer hide, your names and voices have been heard over and over, and your presence amongst the good people of the isle will not be tolerated. I look forward to returning the courtesy you all have shown me and the other innocent prisoners, by throwing you in a confined room where you belong.

Who we are: We are a society of people who believe order is simply a tool for controlling others, and untill the only 'law' on the island is chaos, people can never be free. As Archbishop of this City, I have constantly called the actions of the Temple indefensable and dismissed the morality of their members as non-existant. However, this evil has since been removed from our government and purged - under the pure and experienced leadership of Lord Cromwell, Troll's Bane shall be stabilised. Now is NOT the time to shuffle even more...Troll's Bane is a fragile mechanism, and any elections will simply cause problems. Precipitated by the departure of Lord Verdazar and Archduchess Joxia Doral, along with our Captain of the guard, Troll's Bane is in a mess - let one who knows how it should be, our thrice-ruler Lord Cromwell, repair this sorry state of affairs.

I would like to thank everyone who have been fighting agaisnt this evil today, we have been liberated from Negros and his army of undeads, we do not need to fear for our island anymore as Negros himself has been defeated. Then once again we are victorious, the lich war, the temple and now Negros have been set to ashes, proving the strenght and unity of our people in times of need (apart a few exceptions..). In this day we should be proud of having defeated a new enemy, let us feast this new victory!

Dain Laiden and Julius Rothman have assaulted myself, the Guard Captain as well as a number of other guards. For this appalling action, both are declared as outlaws and are to be jailed on sight. Due to the fact that Julius Rothman is the leader of the Knighthood of Kallahorn, or so it seems, I declare that there will be no possible relations or contracts done with the said Knighthood. In case there is a change of leaders, or Julius Rothman hands himself to the authority, the matters shall be discussed.

The war against the temple is won and now the ownership of the caves within the volcano change hands. Fooser and myself, and we encourage Grunith to sign as well, claim now ownership of the temple and all it's lands. Never again will evil be allowed to fester within it's bowels. We own it jointly, no one owns more portions of it then another, for now we decide to just keep it closed from all who wish to use it, perhaps in the future a better plan for it will be decided upon.

It indeed sounds to be an unwise decision to let former temple members control its remains. In fact, this would mean its reactivation within a shorter while than possible to recognize.
Anyhow, it seems ungood to allow former temple members in any standing government.
Evil deeds are grains which too often fall on fertile ground. Their sprouts often grow hidden by other weeds, and once grown, the roots go deep. To dig them out, costs blood and pain. Their leafs are called corruption, deceit and vileness, and the fruits they bear are mistrust, pain and slaughter.

Now that you are aware of the true happenings behind closed curtains the past few months, I shall grievously sit about discussing with you what has happened recently. The most repeated question that I have answered the past weeks has been, "Mister Varrin, why did you give power to Joxia if you are such a staunch critic?" The simple answer was, I took the quiet route once more. Why risk going to war with the Bearers and perhaps even giving them reason to control the town, when I can quietly exit out the back door with a key? That's precisely what I did.

Except, it was the quiet exit of a man scared for his own life. My associates told me of Joxia's plan to violently overthrow me, and I took these allegations to a man high in the Temple. For the sake of the argument his name begins with the letter "V". He didn't deny these charges and told me that an affiliate of the Temple, I was expected to comply. An ultimatum of a day was set, and if I did not peacefully step down, I'd end up in a gutter with a dagger concealed neatly in my back. So, I stepped down.

I figured I would peacefully retire, and peacefully support those who did not support this Temple. I fully expected Joxia Doral to continue her antics where she left off by attempting to do something I had refused to do. Aggressively take other territories on the island and make herself Archduchess, thereby making the town of Troll's Bane a threat to outside forces and a melting pot of little freedom.

I didn't expect her to be so bold, and quite frankly so ignorant.

I was pushed to action after she blatantly broke her own laws, and went as far as implementing me in one of her own crimes. She hired Mister Colin Smalls (aka Daniel Greenriver) to burn down the woods of Vanima. This move was done simply to gain support from Tol Vanima for her capture and execution of the criminal. I was briefly implicated as the man who paid Colin for these crimes, but I dismissed those rumors by stating the obvious. Smalls was Mr. Black, the man who kidnapped my daughter and a crazed lunatic.

At his trial, he was convicted with quite an ignorant degree of legalities (something near 150 counts of manslaughter). In the most overtly witless display of theatrical performances I've seen, Mister Smalls committed suicide. It didn't take much digging to find out that Lady Doral paid a local druid for a poison to simulate death. You might say, "That Mister Varrin is simply making this story up! He is surely in bed with the Bearers!"

Go ahead and believe that. But before you do, ask Lady Doral yourself what happened to the body of Colin Smalls. It is typical procedure to lob off the head of someone who has committed suicide in order to prevent death by the hands of his enemies. Is it not also common to have a witness at the burial of someone who could have easily drank a known potion? Ask Joxia where the body is, and should you have the courage, dig up the grave. I can guarantee you no body resides there, and should there by one, it is not of Colin Smalls.

I also have a first hand account of Joxia's claims that the Bearers held her against her will in Troll's Bane. This account, and general knowledge of the way things go, can easily attest to the fact it was fabricated. My position in the Temple told me this as well. She was given three dwarven days or there would be an attack. People of Troll's Bane, unclog your minds from the months of suppression I dealt to you. If you make a demand such as that, you are doing so knowing very well the leader in question will relay that message to her citizens. You know very well that she will conjure up a war effort in order to defend against an attack. Yet, was there an attack? No. It wasn't because the Bearers shat themselves believing there would an actual crop of defenders, it was because it was a fabricated account in order to stir up hatred towards these Bearers.

In conclusion, I've found knowledge without a doubt that Joxia is still an active worshiper of Moshran. It wasn't long ago that a majority of the current temple members were bowing down to Netharia, including Joxia herself. It was not long ago that Dain Laiden walked our streets as a skeleton. It was not long ago that Joxia upped and left the town, with the treasury no less, leaving the town weakened against the armies of the Prince. She does not deny the existence of the Temple, and her words do not fully state she does not believe in Moshran.

If you still believe that she doesn't, do yourself a favor and ask her personally if she'd pray to the five at an altar. Or perhaps you could ask her what the purpose is of an Altar to Moshran in her very own home?

Do I wish Fooser to be a mayor? Would I prefer Elijah? They are both tyrants or tyrants wannabees. I do not think they would introduce democracy in Bane as they are ignorant of the concept. We need new minds, capable of envisionning another future. The old ways are out of date. Trolls Bane is not a petty town, it is not a town for petty minds.
