errr did someone take the monsters?

Post by Grant Herion »

After I died to Gloran, I wanted to train and get back some of the experience I lost. So I went to the scorpions but found they were gone. Then I went to the ogres and they were gone as well. And even the mummys are gone. Does anyone know if a gm stopped them from respawning or is this just the work of a mean player who wants to cause trouble?

Yes Grant. I saw a human move all the monsters (even the demons) to a large forest area surrownded with trees. So, someone must kill all the monsters to make them appear once again.

Not really. I noticed that too. Infact, that is probally why the scorpian that was chasing me left. (See, RPG: A Halfling's Journey.) :)

The pig's are gone aswell, I dont know about the sheep though there is probably a good chance they are gone too. I think this is just a prank or something. When I got on this morning I seen the scorps where the flies usually spawn.

Well, earlier a bunch of pigs appeaered in town and Malinne killed most of them. The zombies were gone... I found one scorpion wandering around and that was killed as well. Ther were no sheep. The skeletons were still around and so were the demons. Of course when I checked more recently today, the demon was gone... The spider cave has all of its monsters. It seems as though the beasts have simply stopped spawning...

After Malinne was killed I knew she wouldn't be able to train with monsters because they're not around... And earlier she couldn't fulfill her urges to kill... The timing was pretty ironic, but it's made for some okay roleplaying... The only monsters around are those too strong for her, especially now.

Is it deliberate?

I'm not sure exactly when this happend. I did see some sheep as I was picking apples though. I was dissapointed when I didn't find any pigs. I couldn't work. So I ended up logging out soon after I heard the news about the monsters.

I was looking all over for the sheep...then I found them trapped in a ring of boulders. I let them out...and that made them very happy... And I noticed the pigs were missing...and no wasps...hmmm....

Did you ever think about posting your ascertainment and investigations to the rpg-board? Here is the technical support and what you're talking about does not sound to be a bug. Only an idea

Yes, if anyone happends to read this post that I have made, I would only like to remind you to go to the RPG board, and look for a topic that has the word "Prank" in it. Made by Xerake. There you can talk more about this. Thank you.

Lotho, do be quiet, you seem to want to be a mod... If you look at when this was made you with smack your head with your hand because it was made before any of the other posts were made.

Well, I do thank you for your kind remark. Please note that I was only telling others that there was another post about the same topic. I was not telling everyone to quit posting here because there is another topic based on the dissapearence of the monsters. As I said, I was only reminding them.

If there is a roleplaying reason for this could someone please get on with it and do whatever it is you are going to do? Some of us need some leather, thread, and other supplies not to mention some training.

If this is a technical problem then I guess I'll just have to wait.
