An Invitation is Pinned
A parchment is pinned to the board at Trolls Bane written in precise cursive with great care in the lettering however half of a torn herb appears to be stuck on the pin holding it.

A halfling walks into town eating a tangerine appearing as if a definite purpose was in mind as he looks up at the board and grabs a pen from his bag the same time muttering...
She said be neat, I can do that.
Holding the parchment carefully he rubs the time out and slowly adds a new time then nods smiling at his work before grabbing a cherry pie and taking a small bite. Suddenly chuckling as he gazes at the torn herb, his hand reaches to pull it off leaving a little cherry pie on the edge before turning to leave without a backward glance.

Having written a few parchments with change of plans again while she sits on the dock at the harbor, Cay's hand is now getting shaky as the one finally put off until the end needs to be written. Mumbling to herself...
What should I say?
Her hand simply begins to write, some words tumbling together as she gets all her thoughts written, unmindful of how it turns out in the end. Stopping to read it later she frowns and crosses out a few words attempting to make it clearer. The halfling waiting to take the parchment having tapped a hairy foot for a few minutes, then crosses his arms, adjusted his hat, ate another cherry pie simply laughed and took the parchment half finished patting her on the shoulder.
This is good enough Cay, stay here and relax, I will make sure it gets where it is supposed to.
Felix is stuck...
The word is crossed out
.. unexpected....
Something about the newly hired cook setting the galley on fire is crossed out now.
....Mainland. Change of date...
The rest is so smudged it is unreadable.
More writing is done much neater and obviously in a different handwriting at the bottom.
The wedding of the Little One
Cay Braedes and the presently absent one "Felix" Atelhier
Will be celebrated at Ushura's Shrine as soon as Felix can find another ship to sail on.
It is estimated he will arrive six days hence.
