Hochachtungsvoll,
i. A. Friedwulfa Silberklinge

Dear friends from Greenbriar
Silverbrand wishes to inform you that the next Competitions of Irmorom will take place in three to four dwarven weeks. We heartily invite the hamlet of Greenbriar, as community, to participate for the glory and the honour of your village.
The competitions will be: Tailoring, capentering, smithing, mining, steeplecheasing, poetry and singing, fighting with swords, fighting in groups as well as an alchemy council in wich the alchemists will search for their wisest and most educated one.
The planned course of events: The Hamlet may send one participant for every competition. Participating is free from any charge. In addition every guild that feels connected with the hamlet may send another participant who can take part on the competitions as well.
On the day of competition, all participants will be informed about their actual task (so nobody can smuggle a master piece into the competition) and they will get the material, the tools have to be crafted by their own hands.
In case that there is more than one applicant for a competition, the Hamlet is asked to hold pre-competitions. Silverbrand will gladly support you with these, if whished.
Yours sincerly,
p.p. Friedwulfa Silverblade

Nerwin, if you could reply by dove to my earlier piece of parchment I sent you, I'd be most grateful as I feel it is of a rather urgent matter.

Re: Der Weiler Greenbriar / The Hamlet of Greenbriar

Re: Der Weiler Greenbriar / The Hamlet of Greenbriar
As the family head is away studying, may Oldra, Ushara and Adron bless his feet and his wine, I've been left care taker of our beloved town. At that, I find it quite disheartening that I seem to be the Littlethorn present at most times, at all times for the majority it would seem. So, with this in mind I plan on calling a family, or clan meeting.
Basically, I want to get to know the people who lived, lives or lurks in the town. Be you Human, be you Elf, fairy or whatever manner of form the gods crafted you in - Orc's not included-. If you have a question, idea or simply want to talk with me. Doves will find me easily. Though a attentive seeker will find me just as well.
In Elara's wisdom,
~Tiyron Trill Talltalker Littlehthorn,
Care Taker of our Greenbriar~
Re: Der Weiler Greenbriar / The Hamlet of Greenbriar
As a child in Oldwillows, I was taught that any dying fire that you didn't kill, could be reborn to set the forest ablaze.
As it were, I have the same approach in regards to troublesome people.
The mage student known as Orioli, is hence forth banned from the forests Greenbriar and the town after her display in the town of Bane.
I will not put my home, and clan at risk of her inability to act properly, and respect the arcane gifts she holds.
This is in turn can be over turned by our family head, Nerwin upon his return if he see's fit.
But until then, this is how it shall be.
In Elara's wisdom and Bragons justice,
~Tiyron Trill Talltalker Littlethorn,
Care Taker of our Greenbriar ~
Re: Der Weiler Greenbriar / The Hamlet of Greenbriar
A reminder to all.
It is against our laws, and rules to attack, touch with intent of harm or simply thinking about how well our rabbits would taste in a stew.
If you're caught in the act, you're going to get a kick up the arse from my rather large feet!
With that in mind, the Proud leg Evie is to report to myself on accounts of beheading our rabbits.
Don't make me look for you..
In Elara's wisdom and Bragon's justice.

Re: Der Weiler Greenbriar / The Hamlet of Greenbriar
Evie and I found, in the great town of Greenbriar, a Forest Troll Forester (I think it was called this as I have never encountered one before). Nasty creature roaming our peaceful streets. I hope it was within our laws to dispatch of the creature before anyone had the misfortune to die from his lethal attack, because, I will put forth, here and now, the creature is dead. Completely, 100%, dead. May his soul find peace. And may no other such creature enter our peaceful walls again.
In Elara's wisdom and Bragon's justice.

I would also like to post a special thank you to the person who lead that creature into the halfling town, and then left it their for others to stumble across..

There is a group of trolls living very near the town. It was only a matter of time before one found its way into town probly chasing some poor unsuspecting herb collector who likely stumbled across them.

Re: Der Weiler Greenbriar / The Hamlet of Greenbriar
In light and knowledge that there's but very few in the Briar, and the fact that I'm pretty sure - due to the stories I've heard - that Halfling's will magically appear out of outrage at my attempt to bring somewhat of a bit of life into our town.
It gives me pleasure to announce Elijah Varrin as the renter of the Tavern. By this, I mean he may sell, and employ someone to sell goods within the joint, as long as the person is friend of the Briar and her allies. Instead of charging him via each event held within the Tavern, he shall have free access to create celebration and all that good stuff.
This contract may become null and void upon Nerwin's return if he so see's fit. But until then, so be it.
In Elara's wisdom and Adron's wine of cheer,
~ Tiyron Trill Talltalker Littlethorn,
Over seer of our Greenbriar. ~

A hooded man makes his way through the horde of mummies and leaves a note on the town board.
For treason against the king, the halfling Nerwin is hereby sentenced to death.
The halfling Tiyron is sentenced to be flogged thirty times, his hands are to be cut off afterwards so he may never use them again to employ magic at his benefit.
The halfling Ruben is sentenced to spend the remainder of his life in servitude to the king for offending his name.
~His majesty king Beaumenton the first.
By majority vote, the shadow council accepts punishment by proxy as legal. Any individual deemed acceptable by the high judge may be punished in stead of a criminal offender.

Re: Der Weiler Greenbriar / The Hamlet of Greenbriar
A tall Halfling can be seen marching around Greenbriar for a time after reading the newest of posts. With a sigh and a mutter, he finally returns - empty handed of any 'kings' - and sets about writing a notice out.
While we're at it.
If someone can bring me this runt of a Orc's offspring - dead or a alive matters little, be creative - I'll gladly hand over six gold.
But as it were, if none can say that they've seen this pathetic excuse for life, the reward will become null and void, for it seems he's but a parachment king. No Halfling needs fear the stupid and weak, for it seems this ilk spends most - if not the majority - of his time hiding.

Hooded, wearing an iron crown, the man calling himself king leaves a note on the board.
Three dwarven days ago, the honorable shadow council, true rulers of the kingdom of Greenbriar, punished Beringer Talheim for the crimes committed by Djironnyma and the Bearers of Fire for their violation of our sovereignty. As decided by the shadow council, Beringer Talheim lost one of his ears, though the gods decided to spare his life. Let it be known that further violations of our sovereignty will be punished far more severely, also citizens of Varshikar will be eligible for the punishment by proxy. The halfling tyrants are next, Nerwin, Ruben and Tiyron.

A cloaked and hooded elfess slips close to town and with parchment and quill in hand, begins to write a few lines before placing them for whom ever wishes to read.
Is safe passage into and out of greenbriar available for those connected with Trolls Bane and whom have no intrest in the politics of the land? Also on that note, as things seem to be getting a bit out of hand. I would offer my services as a go between to see if this can be settled without further bloodshed by either parties. Perhaps a peaceful resolution can be found if all parties are willing to listen.

By all means, scum. Appear within Greenbriar, or Troll's Bane and try to enact your punishment. I swear by the Gods you're but a coward who'll run and hide. From A Halfling. Is this a king, or a pathetic mouse?
Also, Shandra. Leave the politics of my home to my people, and their allies. There's enough parties involved as it is.
