Bloodthirsty Hobbits...

Agreed with Felkin. Just because one kills does not mean they are all bloodthirsty beings. Look at Dunthor. No insults against his race was done to him. Dwarves were never called bloodthirsty or theives when Dunthor did something. Although when Nilo does something all the hobbits of the town are accused in some way of being bloodthirsty?

Grant, i assume im a bloodthirsty one in your opinion? Id like to see you come and attack me...that would be a sight. ANyhow, we have resolved our differences. I have apologized, yet you have pushed me away. I think that you are the one that is bloodthirsty, Grant. Perhaps you should select a different route to island domination?[/i]

The following text appeared under the title 'attacked' and was written by Crosis.
Grant & Bloodhearte - Bloodhearte is the leader of a Cult trying to resurect Moshran to rule over us all, and Grant his companion assisting Bloodhearte.
Crosis - Leader of the Hobbiteers, ended the war with Darlok by sacrificing a portion of his own wealth (or that of his Guild).
And Grant calls us bloodthirsty ... I think, Grant, you are just upset because you were killed trying to oppres us. It's obvious you will be killed by a halfling if you are tying to enslave or kill our race. Stop your foolishness and grow up.
Firstly, who would you trust?Halflings beware, Bloodhearte and Grant Herion (there may be more) are trying to capture halflings! They have put Viola Thistle under a spell, she tried attacking me today, Grant was shouting out comands for her. Also they tried poisening Felkin! I think they may be trying to kill us off or make us slaves.

((*shakes his head* Everyone always thinks its some ooc matter when it goes out of their control.... I personally think that an oppressed halfling would fight back..))
Here's a small explanation as to why halflings might receive a bad name for the more violent actions of one:
Halflings tend to be peaceful folk, good farmers and lovers of ale, typically. They often turn out to be good with anything that grows and baking is quite a natural talent. This is merely what I have noticed in every other land I have visited... strangely, this land is most unusal to this idea.
That's why the actions of one halfling may hurt the name of the race in general. The reason Dunthor's actions did not hurt the dwarven race are as follows:
Dwarves are much more aggressive than most of the races. Their unnatural strength makes them great warriors, miners and smiths. They do not tend to put up with people who aggravate them. Again, this is just what I have noticed in other lands.
I hope that clarifies a few things.... Obviously not all halflings are bloodthirsty, but Grant Herion obviously is (though it makes more sense since Grant is a human), which has been proven a few times in town now.
