I am one of those people who call the cloud state as "wounded" or "injured" instead of death.

I've talked about that before on many other "Death" related topics too, and to me whether it's 5mins, 10mins, 24hrs, it still won't make any more sense to call it death once people comes back, which they will 99.99% of the time, so I will likely never refer to it as death. I find that it makes more sense to say that "so many people are lucky enough to walk out of ordeals with just a wound again" instead of "so many people are lucky enough to be resurrected from the dead again"

I think that is a good policy Dyluck...I'll do that as well. I didn't know anyone was doing that.

Perhaps, as Dy said, we could define the state of being cloud in the following way:

By becoming a cloud, it is like beeing a soul or a ghost, a state between life and death.
In this state, it is possible by the magic of the land of Illarion, to come back to real live or to fade away by time into real death
(decision of the player by rp, some have choosen death, like the orcs of the "Horde" after their last battle).
If there passes much time, the ghosts / souls are wandering to Chergas plain, a place outside the reach of the livings, where they maybe have a last chance to come back (as happened once to Badmosche and also Zasmia, this was only rp, no technical way).
And after being for longer time in the plains of Chergas, they would be death for ever.
(btw. Cherga is the goddess of death)

This might be a way to play by rp with the death, having a backgroundstory about the metaphysical requirements our world.

Very, very good! I like all the possibilities this has! Anything from severly injured to wandering the Chargas to true death, whatever seems to fit the rp'd situation. No outside restriction - we'll just know the more imaginative rp's from the not so imaginative.

Perhaps this should be reposted with all the "how to rp" posts that are floating around here or on the site somewhere.

I was ghost for a long time, think hard before you choose it, you need a good story cause some people just wont accept it however good it is, others will mistreat you simply because you are not RPing properly in thier eyes.

Besides it is a huge sacrifice of skills and abilities.
