Nemo is also latin for nobody, Verne's character chosed to call himself this way.
Omen is nemo backwards, and a sign (in a religious manner).

There are more then enough reasons for not accepting this name.

At some times of playing I can only wonder how my name was accepted. hehe sounds like your rules are pretty striched.

The fact that your name slightly resembles a common Japanese name which is used by a character in a game which probably none of the programmers ever played is no real reason not to accept it.

Oh....well I never meant it to be like the japanese name. It is suppose to be Ka-soom. Not Ka-soo-me. Just wanted to say that. So your basically telling me I got lucky?

No, what I wanted to say is that not every name with an i in it is rejected only because "I" is also a word.

The similarities between Kasume and Kasumi aren't THAT obvious that the GMs had to come to the conclusion that you just took the name and changed it slightly. Also, "Kasumi" is a common japanese name and if every name which was ever used by a movie or game character would be rejected then it would be much easier to program a auto-reject routine linked to a dictionary of international names.

Just wondering, why are you telling us all of these names, anyway?
Is this supposed to enlighten us in any way, shape or form?
Or do you want us to know how hard your task is?
We know it's hard. And we figure it's pretty rough...
No offense meant, but can you tell us why this thread exists...?
And why it shouldn't end here?

I've send a request for an account with the name Blackbuckle (Title: Lord)

Now when I read the name rules for the 2nd time I noticed that u should atleast create a first name. What I did is actually only create the last name (Blackbuckle) because I thought that Lord Blackbuckle would sound good. Do you think my account won't be accepted because of this?

Should I send a new account request and give my Character a first name?? Or is Lord Blackbuckle ok?

look at my name at the side, do you think mine's acceptable because i was feeling unadventorus at the time and mix it in that i am an e-wrestler too (wrestling using roleplays) and some lame name came out. Here it is! Could something please confirm if my name is alright coz I'll have to quickly write out a new account if it isn't as the waiting list is like a week and I'm eager to get onto the game...

Before makeing a new Account Request, ensure that your first one is eiter rejected or Thrashed.

Rule:
One account for each Person.

If it comes out that you might have more, even when you dont use them, both Accounts can get banished/deleted.

I for myself, dont like both Names.

Blackbuckel, you need in my Eyes definetly a Firstname.
Chris Killeron, i would try not to come up with nameparts like "Killer" or something aling the line.

But after all, only Galdriel can decide this realy.

Well, the thing is: My character will actually HAVE a first name, it just won't show. If another player wishes to know my name, that character should ask for it, that I consider Roleplay. They cant just walk by and say: "Hey Pete!" (while not knowing me.) because my name title shows the name 'Pete'.

Anyway, we'll see if my account gets accepted...

People won't see your name anyway, as long as you didn't introduce to them.

People that use a name with a meaning like "Elfwood" "Blackbuckle" "Winterbourne" "Blackbeard" definitly need a pre-name.

and i also dislike names that contain obvious elements of kill, slay, dude, etc.
also we dont need yet another derivation of legolas, alucard, luzifer, aragon, etc, because we have/had at least a dozen of each.

I know it has been said that when applying for a new account only one character can be used.

What about people with existing accounts? Can characters be added yet?
I have a fighter character and would like to try out the magic system but don't want my fighter using magic.

If not, can old characters be deleted and then a new one added?

I'm not exactly sure if existing characters can add characters. I think that if it were possible for existing characters to add characters then it should say so in the news area. I looked, and I didn't see it, so I think that you should not send an e-mail asking to add a character. It might get in the way.

So how would it work and is it allowed really Paul? I want to know cause if players who were accepted a bit before they changed account requests to what it is now can make new chars I would want one. But I don't know if I should use the same pass e-mail or something, should it just be written in a mail or something. Any enlightment on this would be great.
