Fluffy is Back...

Post by Burin »

I noticed that while I was wandering the town, a sheep by the name of Fluffy came by. I offered it some peace, and it ended up killing some hobbits. I heard a hobbit say, "Fluffy is stronger than Ashkatuul." ((Sorry if I did not spell that correctly.)) I wish I could speak to this sheep and offer it something. It ran away though. Did anyone else see Fluffy?

Fluffy is a generally peaceful being, and you can make him happy by offering him some meat, especially raw meat. However, if you anger it, it can become quite deadly.

Dear Randelf

As far as I know, Fluffy doesn't like dwarfs. Maybe he had some bad experience with dwarfs. I don't know exactly. Who can just look in the brain of a sheep. Better stay away from Fluffy.

No, Fluffy was peaceful towards me. Just not toward the hobbits that were pulling Fluffy's tung, or riding him. I had a chance to pet it a couple of times. It didn't seem very hostile toward me. :)

How can a sheep be dangerous? I am quite new to the island. I havn't seen a killer sheep at all. Where is this sheep usually found? I will try to stray away. I don't carry food with me much.

I'm not sure but I think there was a time where something strange happened to the sheep on the island. They became carnivorous and agressive... Only Fluffy, the tavern mascot was immune, at least to the agressive part, because of he special medicine he had gotten.
So now he is a meat eating sheep wizh razor sharp teeth, that will be all nice as long as nobody bothers him too much, attacks him, or tries to shear him.

I am not exactly sure if this is truely the story of Fluffy, but I read this some time ago.

Hmmm intresting. Are there many sheep left? Or is fluffy the only one roaming around?

Yes, there are many sheep around. Most sheep are friendly. They are not hostile toward humans, lizards, dwarfs, elves, halflings, and orcs. Fluffy is the only deadly sheep out there as far as I know.

A carnivorous sheep! That is very strange.

Dracon thinks of the image of a cute little sheep with rasor sharp teeth chasing little hobbits and laughs at the idea

Hmmm... so does this sheep show up often or not, and if your nice to it does it bring good luck or somthing or just spares your life.

Dracon thinks of him mistakening fluffy for a normal sheep and attacking it for wool

Dracon's eyes widen

Hmm... but the thought of a deadly sheep is very silly don't you think...

Wait a second he is a special sheep, Hmmm... will you all excuse me while I go find my siccors :D .

This sheep doesn't show up very much. Only once in a great while. If you are nice to it, it won't attack you. I don't believe it brings good luck or nothing.

It is a very bad idea to try shearing Fluffy. If he gets angry, his teeth can kill you with a single bite, regardless of how much steel you put around you.
Anyway, Fluffy will evade your scissors that quick that you won't even get close to his wool with your scissors.
From time to time he loses some wool himself. So if you need his wool so badly, follow him and take the wool he loses.

Aye, people of Trollsbane this.. this sheep has a very odd temper and will attack anything that agitates it. I was one of Fluffy's victims being mauled as I layed knocked out. I also give a word of advice : Do not underestimate the sheep's power as it is almost limitless. Even some of the strongest of Trollsbane have been attacked and lost to our fluffy friend. Petting it is allowed but when it shows signs of hostility back away slowly.

Thank you
