Seems as if there were ever a war we would all die. There would be no one to cure our wounds!

In times of war, I'll be hiding behind the nearest armour-clad warrior I can find, clasping onto me food, and throwing the odd dagger in the enemie's general direction!

Shakes his head at what brendan wrote.

Why not train yourself then incase of war? You never know when trouble might happen. You can't expect someone to always help you in time of troubles.

Kasume is right!

I would confront those attacking, and fight them to protect whom I love, or even some I dont!

Kasume, have you ever thought that not all the people of trollsbane ar warmongering fools who love to fight?

There are indeed many tradesmen and farmers too, and they have to earn a living and thus might not be able to afford training all the time.

Just because you love to see our town bathed i nblood doesnt mean everyone else does.

I...... would gladly provide any type of training free, im sure there are a lot of people who would. Not everything costs money Mishrack. I am sure kasume did not mean he wanted to see the town bathed in blood

Did I say he had to be extrodinary at fighting?! I never said that. I only said at least have some knowledge of battle just incase. If you didn't understand. You can't just be a coward your entire life. There isn't always going to be someone to hide behind. I never said that I loved the town bathed in blood. That would be too messy and too many pigs would die from it. At least have little knowledge of war.

are you calling me a coward? ME?!
If so, I can assure you that your time on this island has just been severly shortened...

If ye had any functioning braincells in yer puny little head, you would have understood that I did not mean that people could not afford to pay someone to train them. These people work to earn a living, and if they must stop working to train their weapon handling a lot of them will starve.
Furthermore, facing demons from the dark places is not something just every person can take. Have you ever actually seen Moshran's servants?
Having a big fiery demon right before you can only be stood by the most fearless warrior of the lands.

You need to brush up on your reading skills Mishrack. I never said you were a coward. Maybe spend a little time in the library.

Albernon points to the word 'afford' on the parchment

Rub yer eyes and read again Freo.
Do ye see anything about the word gold or money there? The word afford doesn't automatically refer to money. Time is something people have to be able to afford to do things too.

Lotho shakes his head when hearing the news of an issue, regarding of a question that stood still in Lotho's mind. "What would you do in times of battle?"

With he frown on his face, Lotho hopes to not arrive on an island full of bloodthirsty people and creatures...

"Hmm..I wonder if I still.." Lotho smiles.

"Ah, it seems I have finally found my pipe..."

Lotho soon begins to smoke the pipe...

A tall figure, embraced by a black cloak, comes into the shop. With minor interest he reads through what Freo and Kasume are debatting about. With a grin on his face he writes some words on a parchment and leaves again.

Your debattes are a quarrel of fools! None of you listens to what the other has to say. I tell you this - Mishrack is right - and I tell you another thing - you are blinded fools with no wits in your brains left. Your discussions lead to NOWHERE. The only thing you achieve is to anger the good citizen of this land with your pitty thoughts.

You are still a child that has not grasped fully what it means to take over responsibilities in this society. And your phrases are empty and filled with hatred - hatred that is feeded by nightmares from the past that still haunt your pitty mind.

A fool you are Kasume and a fool you will stay.

Listen, I was born a fisherman, and I'll die a fisherman. If a bunch of muscle brains can't protect the people who bring in this town's income, then what is the very point of this message?

I am capable of defending myself, I've learned a few tricks in my time, just don't expect me to run sword in hand, faery head in other, into a battle field, hmm?

I'm a peaceful fellow, and contemplating battle, can only lead to battle, eh?

Are you only talking of Kasume? If you mean me, I must tell you I am not young.... but the rest of what you said is probably true, there is no point in quarreling over such petty things.

Even in your own sentence, do you see the word money anywhere?
Maybe you're not young, but you are still not very learned. Go and learn the meaning of the word afford before you yell and make incorrect definitions.
To afford something means to be able to bear the cost of something.
That cost can be anything such as money, time, lives.

I can't afford to waste time here
We can't afford to lose this battle

It just happens people use it to talk about money a lot, because we use money so much in this world.

Shakes his head and chuckles a bit from the posts

Do you think your words are really that wise Zerbus? You people always "think" I mean this or that. When I don't I am not really debating. What's wrong with having some knowledge of battle? I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't really understand what's this a quarral for. Brendson at least has knowledge of it. You call me a fool? Your words make no sense Zerbus. Not saying that mine do.

I neither fight, mage or heal in time of darkness, I sleep. I think yoo fancy people with fancy words got too much issues.

If they dont wanna fight or are too scared to, why make 'em? If they too scared they no make good warrior! An if they can't afford spendin' time den lettem be.

Yes well I don't like to end up protecting others when they had the choice. I live with a tradeskill and some fighting abilities and I yet to starve yet.

Lotho seems confused.

"Then don't protect the others."

Lotho smiles.

"You are not forced to do anything."

Lotho takes the small wooden pipe out of his mouth, rubbing his eyes.
