Is this pk or what?

I haven't been to Illarion in a long time but when I got back, I didn't expect a short guy would come up to me and start to slash away. This Peter claims that he's a lizard hunter. I don't believe him. I think that it was just an excuse to kill me. So, what do you think?

I would call it a PK if you ask me. He has told the community he is a lizard hunter, but I dont think he has a good enough reason. It is no roleplay reason to kill all lizards simply because you feel like it. It would be nice to have the admins tell him to get a better reason or stop doing it, but the only people who oppose him are Blackscales, and in my opinion, (s)he just adds more wood to the fire.

Why not? If a person feels like exterminating an entire race that is a perfectly good reason in RP sense. I personally do not like the race of lizards but I have not taken up a vow to kill them...more power to this Peter!. If you think they should survive then you shoud protect them, I for one will not, unless it is a lizard I know very well and/or respect. Although there must be a grace period I think to allow the lizards to grow to an age in which they can defend themselves to a certain extent. This must be the defining poing of what a new-b actually is. Is it 50 new players? is it 100 new players? we as players can not tell the number of hours a player has been here, only the number of people that have joined after them. If there is a strict rule, which I agree would be sketchy...that may help until further notice as to what a new-b is, and from that point an all life forms are fair game with a valid reason. This is what I think at least, and I am most likely wrong in regards to what the programmers think

. So either way, peter lionen has a valid reason to kill lizards, he is a lizard hunter, if you don't like it stop him.

I think it the dumest reason i ever heard... PK mean play killing and it what he did...

Why dont all PK name them self "skull hunter" and kill everybody they see??

no, PK means Player Killer, and in under this it means Killing another Player for no reason. Now if someone has a reason, especially a well stated reason such as Peter )read the RP board please) I think it was, then it is rediculuous to think of them as a pker. It is true they murdur you, but look, a murder and a pk are way different! Why am I the only one speaking up for Peter?! All the way ooc, he is not me and I am not him

, but I am fighting for the rights of the few. If I were you I would try and raise a resistance to the war against lizards, just get anyone you can to help fight all lizard huners. That should stop the war against your people. Ad no, I wont help you, I despise your race, except a few of your own whom I really do love.

Attacking a "newbie" for the roleplay reason may NOT be considered to be a good style.
these "Vows" to kill an entire race are ridiculous and insane, and not a very intelligent roleplay style. It is the stupid use of a bad clichée to excuse player killing.
Of course he could be intolerant against lizards for some reason. He could provoke them (in a roleplay manner!!!) and give them a chance to avoid the fight. He could bully them in a roleplay way. But this way, telling "i am a lizard hunter" and then starting to kill, especially a newbie who may not have a clue about the game itself, is really bad style AND i would call it PK.

well i think you should first chek the number of youre pray like if you have the number 16543 and youre pray has the number of 18101 then either youre dum´or you would understand that this lizard hasnt gotten enough time too become what ever he want too become but the prob with this is that if a guy that has a number of 16222 maybe and you start attacking him after u hit him some times he dies and then you notis he was a pesant not a warrior nor a mage nor a druid soo its a bit of a prob

You cant just say you want to kill all lizards because of some little thing. Maybe if you had a GOOD roleplay reason, i.e. Your whole family was killed by lizards, and you were just barely left alive. But even then, only a dumb person would just go up to any lizard they see and attack them. Just like Damien said, maybe he would bully them and provoke them, but not attack right out. So maybe it is not fully a PK, it is just really bad roleplay and he should be asked to change it.

Exactly : Very bad roleplay fits it.
Or simply a very bad excuse for attacking other players.
