taming?

is there ways of training pigs now? Because I think I managed to tame a pig today. Well, here is the story. I was out to kill pigs for leather, but then I saw a pig who was all alone, I decided to make it my pet. At first where ever I pushed it, it just went the opposite way I wanted it to go. But after about 5 minutes of pushing it, it stopped fighting and walked the way I was pushing it. Is it coincidence? Random luck? Or can you tame pigs and possibly sheep to not walk away when you want them, but instead just let you push them where ever you want them.

I would say, it was randomly luck, that the pig used to stay near you.
