Hobbiteer Guild

Post by Viola Thistle »

Since I'm not actually playing (still waiting for approval), I felt I should post here, not in the IC Guild Folder. The Hobbiteer website is great - lots of potential. It would be great to have biographies of all the members, though. Who is married to who, professions, etc.

Just a thought,

hey Crosis, I am working on a history of Hobbits, because the people don't know the hobbits were slaves to orcs and servants to humans.

nay, the hobbits never went near lakes or oceans where the lizards dwell. We instead stayed in hilly areas near rivers.

Hobbits are smarter

Post by Olivielle »

A well dressed Hobbit came along.
She plays a happy tune on her harp.

She says, me thinks, that hobbits are smarter than Orcs and eventually humans, no slaves.
Let them think so, anyway.
So we can do our things undisturbed.

I could be wrong, but I have always considered the guild board as ooc and the rpg board is the only ic board.

Nay actually the guild and rpg Board are IC boards.

Aye thank you for repeating this..

i love it to a have parrot.

But my parrot can speak more than one sentence, and have a kind of originality in his speech, it seem so that is the big difference.

I read that topic and here is what Serpardum had to say about it.
Guild boards are NOT IC. They are OOC.

But just because a board is OOC doesn't mean you can't talk IC.
That's the point I was trying to make.
They can post in the guild board if they don't have a character yet because it is ooc.

Sorry if i say it so, but not all what Serpardum said is complete correctly.

Primarily was the Guild Board IC, but then came our beloved kiddies and start talking over and over OCC ( How is my avatar *blah blah* ). And over the years it was to much work for mods, the conclusion can you see now.

Have a look at here, where the boards are described from the Mods:

board describtion

"it is not only ingame" ment, that there are guild related things, like organizing a meeting and talk about the different time zones etc. which aren't ingame. But the focus of this board are ingame guild related things.

And it would be good, that ooc guild related stuff is marked there as ooc.
