A note flutters down in front of the board. It reads:

THIS AUCTION HAS TEMPORARILY BEEN POSTPONED.

Signed,

Lennier i think he will say with this, that your deal is bounced.

I myself never heard that is possible to say after the auction i postpone it,
if you start a auction you have to end it, because its like a "agreement".
But by Paul Laffing is all possible.

uh, i think he means he has other business to attend to at the moment, or he doesnt have the things he is auctioning, but postponing an auction isn't the same thing as cancelling it.

It´s illegal to start a auction with things you had never owned.

Rules for a auction are.

1. You settle your condition at beginning, you can´t change it later.
2. You must exhibit the products that you offer.
3. When any person win the auction you have to pervade the trade, or it is a breach of contract

I do have the things I am auctioning, but do to unforseen circumstances, I shall have to postpone this auction indefinitely (It should be back by next week).

Lennier, since you had the highest bid, I will pay you 2 ingots as a consolation for me having to close this auction unfortunately. If you agree, then I shall close it.
