Declaration of War
Moderator: Gamemasters
Zerbus has kept away now from town, as it is time of negotiations. Nevertheless he hears people talk about this war and so decides to read some informative messages. The expression on his face shows that he is very angry, but in control of himself as he hangs a parchment to all the other parchments.
Very well good citizens!
a title you all would like to hang around your necks, if I am not mistaken?
first let me adress Dracon...
spare us with your dumb and useless questions - are you stubborn or mindly handicapped that you do not understand that you will NEVER get a clear answer to your "simple" question? has there ever been a clear and completely objective answer to such a question? NO is my answer - learn it by hard if necessary...
now to you Kasume...
do not speculate rivvil and do not take your mouth to full - if you do not believe in such an army ask the people that have witnessed its force. and a piece of advice - dont drag too much of attention on your own person... one might think about teaching you some lesson in forces and tactics, quality and quantity...
Bumbol, Hermie and any other whining hobbit...
I have said that before and now I shall repeat myself again - to any "action" there is always "reaction" - a witted person would obviously think about some possible reaction on a particular action before going into action - you obviously did not do so... now face the reaction...
Xerake...
it personally disappoints me that after all that we were doing for you, you let us hang in it all by ourselves. now was that engagement not for you? obviously you are not as tough and honored as I thought you would be. it disgusts me, that i have willingly risked my own life to come to your aid. never will i do so again.

Am I ignored on purpose?
Hello, I'm the one who staunchly defies him and who will never sign a threaty.
Don't you see, you can't always talk. This will go on for ages while the killing continues and no good will come of it, we keep going round in circles. Fight him!, Stop whining and stand up trow the threaty to the ground he asks for too much, and besides what stops him from doing it again.
Fight him, I want all the names of those willing to stand up to this monster and battle him for all worth.
We must destroy him now else he will percecute the hobbits again and ask for more money and this cycle will go on and hobbits will have no live left.
So all hobbits, humans, elfs and any other people with an ounce of decency and any spine at all stand up to him.
YOU DON'T NEED TO PHSICALLY FIGHT HIM
but you MUST fight him somehow.
ENOUGH TALK!

Dear Zerbus
If you were only helping, Xerake, and now that he has left the battle, why don't you do the same, if he was your only reason for fighting the hobbits, why continue? If he has settled his diffrences with them, you don't need to risk your life to help his revenge. As you claimed you were putting your life on the line for him, and he no longer has any problems with the hobbits, you are putting your life on the line for no reason.

You are mad, my friend.
Why can't you understand that this war is not your business? Nobody forces you to comment it, neither to interefere with it.
Darlok is not fighting against you, you should better try to keep it that way.
And stirring up the public against him is no use, he's not doing anything lawless and I guess other people are not as mad as you to start a completely senseless war.
Oh...something else: how could a ghost fight at all?

Kasume,
this is my last Warning towards your Person.
First of all, i never asked for 200 Ingots of Silver, this is a lie born in the Mouth of Bumbol.
Second, you have no Rights in my eyes, therefore you cant ask me for my Reasons. Which i stated already pages ago. But you Fools keep overlooking them and filled these Pages of Crap.
Third, if you dont stop to annoy me, you will see what Mishrak and Zerbus meant when they warned you friendly.

Bumbol,
your stupidity is only exceeded by your dumbness.
Read the Statements i have written, there you will find the Reason why i demand Money and above of all Goods.
By the way, you seem to buy a horribly high prices when the Goods i wanted are 100 Silver worth. I remember that, i sell you the same amount to this Price.
This is the last statement of me to this Topic.
Everbody else will be ignored.

Doesn't a treaty usually have equal halves? If Darlock had no reason which he has a right to tell EVEN THE HOBBITS. He hasn't even told the halflings that are against him even WHY he declared on them! Darlock is making no sense what so ever! Besides...Darlock couldn't find me anyways. He does not know me. He already killed me. You really expect me to be kind to a man that kills for the fun of it!? It was even said that he didn't like halflings because of a reason for their size! You aren't looking through it all! Darlock! You were NEVER dragged into it! You started it! You made this all happen! Do not say that you were dragged into it!

I demand everyone to cease this discussion and no longer stand in the way of finally ending this war. This is only an issue between Darlok and his "forces" and those halflings.
Why does Darlok not explain his reasons in public? Why should he? It's not your issue, as much as it is not mine. I can imagine several possible reasons, because I am not that close minded to think that he "hates halflings", "kills just for fun" or any other excuse for a reason. He is a complex character who only does what he thinks as fitting to his complex rules of living.
If he feels his honour harmed he will restore it at all costs. If he feels threatened, he will defend himself at all costs. If he thinks that some person deserves a lesson, he will teach it in any way he sees fitting.
Now you can think about his reasons himself. He will never tell you, and if you keep bothering him he might believe that you are the next one who needs a lesson.
You can and will not change him, how much you ever discuss. Darlok only does what he sees as needed and fitting, whatever everyone else might think of it.
I'm not defending him, I just want this issue to be settled. If the halflings agree on Darloks treaty or not is their issue. All I can say is that Darlok didn't make this proposal to make fun of them. He made it out of purpose and he is interested in it becoming a success. And therefore he would never demand such rediculous things as 200 silver ingots worth of reparations. as he knows that such a treaty would never be signed.

I would first, like to thank you for putting words in my mouth. I do not agree to watching criminals go unpunished. Speaking about the same issue over and over is pointless.

By gathering information it all makes sense. There was a fight going on with Darlok and some others. Everyone says what they think and what should happen. Adano said to let Darlok and his "forces" deal with this. I agree on that. I get the general idea of what is happening.
Also note: ((I can read.))

What exactly makes sense? Your not darlok and dont know why he is waging war, if you dont have anything constructive to say, best not to say anything at all. I did not put any words in your mouth, i was rewording what Adano said and you obviously agree with it. Zephyr, all we want is a reason, and we have yet to get one.

How does it make sense? "From gathering information."

I was not proposing that criminals should go unpunished. I only agreed with Adano and wished that people would not repeat themselves. That is all, I'm not discussing of this again. Remember, if you need a reason, then find one. Don't repeat yourself over and over.Gro'bul wrote:Im sorry but i dont like to see criminals go unpunished, which is what you are proposing. It is not I that wants a reason. It's what even his enemies want! He can tell his enemies the reason! Yet no one at all? At least the halflings deserve a reason. I am also at a anger towards Darlock for his actions. He does something with no reason. No one knows what's going on here! No one! Not anyone! That's the problem with this situation!!! I want to know what kinds of things are going on because Darlock did something to me also. He may not relize it though. It only proves the amounts of people he hurts.
We are also needed to repeat ourselves because people are to the point where they just don't listen! Listen once in a while instead of just saying foolish things! He may not have a right to tell everyone. He still has a right to tell the halflings!

I did not wish to start any trouble. I only asked some people to not repeat themselves. That is all. So, please don't respond to anything that I have said. ((Also remember, anyone that is new to the boards doesn't mean that they are new to the game.))

I wonder...
If the hobiteers declared war on Darlock, would people still say "Oh we dont care, they dont have to tell us the reason, they declared it so that makes it right!"
On the other hand, I think Darlock is right to not tell anyone why he's attacking those hobbits. I mean, I never tell anyone when I do something pointless...
Go Darlock! your the king!
Or you will be soon because it looks like about 3 people have the guts to stand up to you...
