Maybe its just because I'm new, or the FACT my memory is horrible. but looking at the map doesn't help me much. I think it'd be nice if you could make map notes on the map to mark specific points of interest to your character. i mean since its a "map" and it belongs to your character they could mark on it. If i were around in a medieval setting i would have to keep a map around me and i'd have notes all over it xD.
I'm new so don't bite my head off, just think it'd be cool and very handy. also it'd be a huge help to newer players.

You can just have the map 'RP'd' with a piece of parchment or something. Just save the map on paint and label some stuff, have it open while you're playing.

it WOULD be a help for new players and you could mark for yourself hidden ways to short up your walking acts
maybe on the map which opens when you press F9

Yeah thats kinda what i was thinking, having it on the big map that way it won't get in the way of things on the small map.

Well this is a client issue, and Nitram is working on client I guess.
So hopefully this'll make it to the end product.

I'll write it on my to do list. A few hundred lines more or less...
But this will be included in the next large update and this one will still take its time.

No only did he read the wiki, but he suggested something that was approved by the horrible Nitram.
Yay, we have a good noob!

How far are you going to go with this?
As in, will you be able to annotate it yourself? Because when I proposed that I got laughed out of the room. "WE DON'T HAVE THE MANPOWAH".
