Hello Everyone,
I've recently returned to Illarion after sometime, before the email and the changes to skills and attribute requirments.
Now I am sad to say, the limited magic one of my characters did and the potions my druid could do are not existant. What good is it when I have bright red on skills that I can not use and worse off, that my character was based on and around, in lifestyle and profession.
So, though this may seem greedy. If no other solution can come of this can we not allow the old characters the ability anyways? We have been here very long and through slow times, bad times and good. Many of the story's and work for the story of illarion were created by us and all of illarion was influenced by us from our input. We are family and love illarion. If we are old, it's obvious we are players and have not gone out of our character to do something ridiculous to get banned. We are the foundation. Why not give us a reward from this.. allow us to have what we once did, for few if any of us use our power for anything more than story. If you'd like to go a step farther.. perhaps from these players can become the policing force of illarion. Most would like to have the streets of the town safe, from evil's as well as from players. Who better than the wisest and strongest.
It would make since for the older players to have the edge. Even if not police, we do keep peace when possible and spread the laws by word of mouth. To have the edge would be a great advantage and make others think twice more so than now.
Thank you for your time.
New systems and old players.

@ Gro´bul: She´s not complaining about the "usual" skills... There once was a change in the magic system. I used to throw some pretty good ice bolts before it was changed, now I´m not clever enough to do so.
This change hit me hard, too. My character is pretty average, for he was once a excellent sorcerer. I do still have this skills, but I can´t use them.
To demand that older chars (befor the 10x system) should be reduced in their skills is nonsense. Hey, older ones do know more than younger ones. We too worked hard to gain our experience.
@ Sabrina: You can live with that pretty good... just look at yourself as an old, burned out mage. He knows more than the most "kids" even if he can´t demonstrate his old powers. You are elvish? Learn another art than the magic one, elves have all the time in the world. And maybe the system will be reviewed one day.
Just some thoughts...

Had no idea you posted this Dyluck hun, well it's sounds better from me. After all i'm much more cute
The whole point of this has to due with only one thing. That is the story that my character plays with the others. Each person has many details of thier character they have actually gone through and such a part of it is either invovoling magic or druidism. I can cover it and come up with an idea on how to go around and explain the loss, not just for myself but for what happened to all Illarion. That would be a good way to solve this, but I really am hoping to still be a druid who can use her potions too. Whatever the decision of the gods would be is fine, even if it's a "Yes, but we have other things first so will take a very long time"
I've also got another Idea I shall post up.
