they prolly did as i just started glancing over stuff when i realised there was nothing concrete.
unique items sounds like a good idea and could really help some of the role play. if someone wishes to make a list of items they wish to be incorporated i say go for it. it will give something more to work from.
however for monsters we are greatly limited by space. while it would be great to have 1000 diferent monsters there simply isn't enough room. so for that reason put a hold on the monsters.

I don't think that you need to go over the top and create custom graphics for each special version of a monster. Thats way too much work.Cassandra Fjurin wrote: The problem isn't a name. Currently we have a race like skeleton, gnoll etc. We can set up spawns where we can add something like: Spawn a gnoll with the following stats/skills...
But its only a gnoll. If you look at it it will only be a gnoll if it has strength 4 or strength 200.
You cant see the difference between the two gnolls. There are some "dirty" workarounds that solve this, like keikan mentioned.
You can't really tell the difference between the 5 different types of mummies currently in game just by thier apperance.
Only by thier label you'll see if this is a ordinary Mummy, a Ancient Mummy or a Mummy of Madness.
Thats why I think you are pointing at a problem that is no real problem at all, since the game is actually handleing it nicely already.
If you now just add another Mummy into the mix, one with a randomly generated name, a multiplier strapped on its attributes, a custom loot table and a dangerous red glow in the dark, it will not claim more lives of newbies then the monsters we already have that look abosultly the same.
Just think of the boasting you can do at the end of a day in the tavern:
"I slayed Hyrd'ful the Defiler today, and look what I got: a magical gem!"
Oh, and I don't think my solution is that "dirty" at all.
Yeah, Keikan's idea was exactly what I had in mind. You might not even need a glow. Just click on the mummy and you see "Bandage the Slayer", or whatever. If you really want I'll come up with names and attributes for a few hundred weapons/monsters, if it is definitely going to implemented (since that's the easy part
)
