amethyst

the ground gem amethyst(purple one) does not work for me. when i am holding it(bag, belt, or depo) it looks like the black tile. when i click on it the Compaq Amethyst Desktop apears.
anyone know the problem?

well, easy: delete the compaq amethyst desktop, or rename it.

It sounds like your graphics are messed up.

My suggestion would be to redownload the game.

i unistalled and re-instaled. didnt work. i cant find the desktop file to change the name/delete it. where would it be?

when i try and move a ground amethyst gem that backround apears and takes up much of my screen.

Go into your C:\Windows or C:\WinNT or C:\Win or C:\Win2K, or whatever you call it, and rename the Amethyst.bmp to soemthing else like amethyst desktop.bmp.

Problem shoudl be solved.

now to find the thread about the purple outlines...
