Instead of being an ass, you could try and explain to Grindan what he did wrong.

Anyhow, Grindan, this is a roleplaying game. You don't sell torches, your character does. And since your character lives in the world of Illarion where MSN and AIM doesn't exist, you need to find your character a way to sell his character torches. A good idea is sending him a "dove" (e.g; PM signed by your character, but you have to make sure your character knows his wants torches) or you could post on the Trading boards a parchment signed by your character saying he sells torches.

It isn't in character.. which is why you shouldn't sell stuff on it.
