Oh, but don't be fooled; I have seen a human friend of mine (which will remain nameless to you) who summoned mummies and skeletons in the stone circle. ((A GM wasn't present, I believe.))

We DO have the power to summon!

((It's just a matter of learning how, if the secret is ever unlocked by my supplier  ))

Or, scratch that...maybe we don't have the power to summon...yet.

In any case, Drahken is gaining power. I already have several souls in my mirror.

Feels insecure, because he doesn't want to choose between his discovery and his friends lives...

I know Dunthor has obtained a number of mirrors. One of them has been destroyed when he foolishly put it on the floor, and after that being even more foolish he told me he had another.

Enough!
These cursed mirrors must be destroyed at all costs before the town of Troll's Bane is doomed by the greedy who refuse to destroy them.
You will surely pay for your foolishness to openly declare that you possess these cursed mirrors.
That means you, Bloodhearte and Dunthor.
And the rest of you who refuse up the mirror will eventually face the doom of its curse....whether it be a life of misery, or the permnant death of your body from the world of Illarion, just as all those before you who refused to give up the mirror did.

The citizens of Troll's Bane will not stand idly by while you walk amongst us, assisting the intentions of our enemy Drakhen Vorkalion.

I hereby brand Fortinbris Bloodhearte and Dunthor to be menaces to the town of Troll's Bane and hence exiled fromed the town of Troll's Bane until they hand over their cursed mirrors.

Men and mercenaries will soon be sent after you and you will be hunted so long as you walk in Troll's Bane, until you hand over the mirrors to be destroyed by a member of a reliable elder guild. Having shown your greed and dangerous intentions, you will not be trusted on any claim that you've destroyed them by yourselves.

You have only two options: Make arrangements here on the town walls to hand over the mirrors to be destroyed, or stay exiled and hunted if you set foot into the town of Troll's Bane.

You see? I had a feeling that this Dunthor character was up to something. I wish all good luck on finding Bloodhearte and Dunthor. I wish to not be part of finding the two. For now, I will simply stay in the peaceful forest...

Sehen Sie?

Warning to all defenders and non-defenders. Do not hide in the shop for recovery or for any reason. I tried but then a deamon appeared inside the shop with some skeletons and killed me. I don't know if the deamons appear there now because it was around 8:00 ((game time))

I would like to translate what Dyluck is talking about for some are a bit confused on what is going on...
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Dracon...
I do not think many care much if you are friends with Dunthor. He holds an evil object. To me it looks like they will attack him unless he gives up the mirrors.

Ich denke nicht, daß viele mich viel sorgt, wenn Sie Freunde mit Dunthor sind. Er hält ein übles Objekt. Zu mir sieht es aus, wie sie ihn angreifen werden, es sei denn er gibt auf die Spiegel.

Look, just because Dunthor has the mirror doesn't mean that he is evil nor the mirror. The mirror is just a tool. Did you ask Dunthor what he intends to do with it, because he could just be keeping it form those who practice and use evil.

So a hunt for the demon worshippers is it, well you didn't mention retired hobbits who fish all day. But I think I might count as a mercenary. I shall help as I can. Tell me is there any way I would know the two by any features, or other marks? And if this is a cult perhaps there are more of them. If any one knows something now would be the time to say so, most of us were not there for the events of late.

Then why doesn't Dunthor destroy the mirror? That would keep it out of evil hands and Drahken would be unable to continue to drain power from Dunthor.

Roke, I would consider the Knights of the Grey Rose, Damien of the Grey Light, the high council of the Rangers, and the administration of the Magic Academy, to all be some examples of reliable elder guilds and citizens of Troll's Bane.

Radurak, thank you for your translations to the other tounges.

Dracon, normally I may consider giving a chance for a friend of a criminal to talk some sense into him, but you are not the first to try with Dunthor, and he has already had previous records of imprisonment in Troll's Bane for murder and is known to have failed or be irresponsible in the delivery of his goods to those he had made deals with, including Mishrack and Morgaine Le Fay.
Now he refuses to give up these cursed mirrors to be destroyed, which is a threat to our town's safety, and has commited atrocious attacks:
Hermie wrote:I would like to bring it to your attention that Dunthor, who as far as I know is in this Guild, has committed indecent acts. He has mirrors of grave power which should be destroyed. After destroying one he attempted to poison me and Damien to death. He has vowed to serve Moshran and has joined the Blackstone cult. I also saw him with an orc when they put one of these mirrors on the shovel of a lizard while he was mining.

there is more to Dunthor's deep evilness than alcohol, for starts he drink it, he forced myself and Damien to consume some, nearly killing me. I had to kill him in our defence.
Drathe wrote:Dunthor is a menace. He is aggresive, a lier, arrogant, ingnorant, rude, he has no honour what so ever. Yet again he has attacked a fellow guild member and to top it of, has now been seen showing off items of evil he has no understanding of.

He has already been given a second chance in the guild. This... this... excuse for a Dwarf and has yet again, brought shame to our guild, its name and all that we stand for.

I ask you, the guild governing members to not even consider, but just to strip his title and remove him from the guild never to return, before his ways are accepted by all as the ways of the guild.

I think this would be soft option tho, for I feel personaly he should be made an exaple of so as to hopefuly restore the damge he has done to the publics oppinion of the Guild.

I am sure what ever you choose to do, it will be discused through and thought out. So I will leave it in your capable hands and say no more.
However Dracon, I personally will not send people to specifically hunt Dunthor for one more day, in hopes that you can talk some sense into him by then and have him hand over the mirror. However, I also cannot guarantee that he does not feel the breath of all other hunters on his neck until then. So you'd better find him as soon as possible.

Peter Lonin, the one called Fortinbris Bloodhearte is a human leader of a Blackstone Cult, and the one called Dunthor is a dwarf whose beard, hair, and eyes resembles that of ((241XX)). More information may come in the future.

No. Dunthor isn't keeping it from those who practice and use evil. I was told Dunthor was in the Blackstone Cult. He is practicing evil. As Roke even said, Why doesn't Dunthor just destroy the item?

@Dyluck: Your welcome. :)

Radurak, the only way anyone can be sure of anything would be to actually kill Dunthor and I am sure there are plenty of bloodthirsties out there who would love to do so. Personally, I will keep my distance from this foolish dwarf incase he does have another, or the same still, as he tried to force me to look into it earlier today.

Yes, he could have more. I remember during a previous attack from Ashkatuul I had collected 4 mirrors, they were destroyed. It is very easy to get more than one mirror.

What witnesses do you have to prove that Dunthor destroyed his miror?

The brand will not be lifted until the possesed mirrors are handed over to a reliable members of an elder guild of Troll's Bane to be destroyed or witness to be destroyed by them.

If he claims that the mirror is already destroyed, the truth cannot be verified until a Ritual of Clairvoyance has been completed through the aid of the gods, at which point the locations of all the cursed mirrors will be known. Those of you who also have one or more know who you are... don't force us to expose you...

Radurak nods.

I must say I am a bit confused on something. I just found out a little while ago that Dunthor attacked..or should I say repeatedly attacked the demon lord. Why did he attack the demon, if he is a follower of the Blackstone Cult?

I was there when it was happening, Dunthor was trapped in Ashkatuul lair with some others including me. Ashkatuul gave us the choice to join him or to have to face the monsters blocking the portal. Dunthor chose to follow him and he was teleported away, then I believe he got the mirrors. I ended up floating to the portal.

He joined Ashkatuul and gave him the mirror? Then he's brought us one step closer to doom! Not only is the mirror not destroyed, but now it's the hands of the demon king once again with the power it has drained! This is even worse! He should have handed the mirror over to be destroyed when he had the chance and now he has betrayed our town in joining our enemy!

As Elaralith reads the posts her face grows more and more troubled...

Concerning Dunthor:
Dunthor, Dunthor, Dunthor...He has fallen back into darkness if he was
ever out of it. I have witnessed him distributing the cursed mirrors in an attempt to trick innocents into looking into them...Also when mirrors were taken away from him he attacked and killed violently. I was only just able to stop him with some well-time spells...This misguided dwarf must be put away for the safety of all. I suggest that he be escorted to Island Prison, until either he has repented or this fiasco with Ashtakuul and Drakhen are over. He is a great liability to the town and has great potential for harm.
With blessings,

Beowulf wanders about, a bit uneasy about his footing. He seems to be worrying over something. As he comes across the messages concerning Drakhen and Ashkatuul, he stops to read. After reading, he decides to write.

"To the people of Troll's Bane,
This is quite disturbing news, these recent happenings with Drakhen and Ashkatuul. It worries me greatly, though I do not doubt that we shall prevail in atleast holding them back. Dunthor seems to be the type of person who is easily swayed to the "easy-way-out" route, rather than challenging himself to the more difficult hardships in life. I suggest that no woman or child stay outside for more than a few moments. Any warriors who are known to slay even lowly skeletons should take up arms as a precaution for the town.

To Lady Elaralith more specifically,
Concerning Dunthor:
If Dunthor is doing as you say, attempting to trick people into forcing others to gaze into mirrors, violently attacking and killing people, and so on and so forth, then more measures should be taken than a mere imprisonment. However, if it is found to be too cruel a punishment, then at least consider the concept of removing the repentance part of your proposition. Any lying man can pretend to repent, if the situation calls for it. Though, I do like the idea of having him imprisoned until the excursion of Drakhen and Ashkatuul are overwith. This would be a suitable punishment, if he can control himself in the aftermath of this current terror.

Yours,
Beowulf Roughknight, Elven Merchant."

After being satisfied with his letter, Beowulf posts it beside the others.

Dear Citizens,

as Dyluck pointed out, the Blackstone Cult and his leader Fortinbris Bloodhearte has to be stopped.
Gaining knowledge and wisdom, ha, fools they are!
Their search for knowledge and their rituals strengthens only Drakhen Vorkalion, the Bone Lord. With his new powers, he was again able to attack the town, send his demon Askhatuul and bring harm and sorrow over the cititzens.
The only reason for the attacks is the Blackstone Cult and their goal to gain evil knowledge.
Stop the Blackstone Cult and the attacks will stop by time.
Destroy the mirrors, bringing spirituel powers to Drakhen!

----

Ho ho ho, isn't it ironic.

Did I not warn you? Did I not try to organise theese defences you need so bady? And was I not pushed away and deemed a fool?

And now you need me, but I shall not help.

You brought this fate upon yourselves, I wanted to prevent this you would not let me.

Your souls shall be in torment.

You have only yourselves to blaim.
