A small amount of players are joining, a larger amount of players are leaving.

i would love to see this game get a large playerbase...
i remember a few years ago, when i successfully converted about 10 EL players to active illa players (atleast 4 still play), i went to about a dozen RPG forums and posted links to this game... i checked back the next day to see if anyone posted interest, and i was banned from every forum =(

Since this is working by IP, has anyone considered cheating by voting through proxies or manually changing their IP address?

I would but it takes like 3 minutes to restart my router.

- OpenStart
- Click Run
- Open command panel with the command "cmd"
- ipconfig/release
- ipconfig/renew
Done.
No restarting routers involved.
Not that I would ever consider cheating...

The really successful ones are probably those that just reward players in the game for voting.
A lot of web games make you vote to get certain daily rewards. I've seen this a lot.
Illarion couldn't do it, but eh.
This game is really different from most other games of its type, it's hard to attract quality people through these types of means. I'll keep voting though.
