Druidism, Priestly And mana questions
One of my characters I have is Druidic I read somewhere yesterday that We have to be taugth by other players to be able to use magics? Or is this wrong. If not then where as druic is the best place for me to go to begin training in order to enable mana and also learn druidic magics. I also have a priest with the same dilema I mean i don't neccesarily want exacting details to ruin the experience but is there a hint as to where to go for these If so I missed it.
For priests, there is currently no working system, as it is in development. For now priests are a RP only character, taking part of a temple, holding sermons, etc.
As for druids, there is no mana involved at all for druids. All of a druid's magic relies on harvesting herbs and combining them with a catalyst in order to create potions.
Best way to get started with this is to head over to the druid house or to find other druid characters who will show you to the right path. I hope it's not too revealing for me to say that you need a sickle (to harvest herbs), bottles (for the potions), and a certain tool in which you will brew your potions (hint hint).
Note that interaction with other characters to learn druidism is -not- required. You can very well play a hermit druid, it's just more difficult to figure everything out.
(Addendum: The "be taught by other players to be able to use magic" thing is a part of the regular mage system. Players must be taught the runes for magic by mage teachers.)
