Wizard's staff

Greetings,
I propose that either some of the current staffs have the added ability to act as magic wands do, or that a whole new group of staffs be created...wizard's staffs. Such staffs could have magical abilities like a magic wand but can still be used for minor physical attacks as a staff. Somewhere in the manual it said that staffs could be used to direct spells, but right now ingame that is not the case, and I think it should be changed.

Here is a link to a proposal which had content about staffs being able to direct spells, in fact I think you proposed it... Acctually, you did, the only differences are, as far as I can see:

-you also mentioned magical parry or some sort of protection due to magic
-you went into more detail in that proposal.
