This suggestion is simply that Ghosts can move things, either move pots and other object so they can't be trapped indefinately in some random corner of the map by some evil git, and that they can push people to give them some ability to protect themselves from further skill decreasing attacks and enable them to move diagnally.
It just makes sense that ghosts can move more places than humans and that they can have 'poltergeist' abilities. This would mean they could move it from the ground to the ground rather than being able to pick it up.
This would offer some protection from being trapped in pots or something.

As a ghost your link to the "realms of the mortal" is very thin.
You must hurry back to a holy place (cross) to get back to living.
So why should you have special abilties as a ghost?
Pretectet from attacks, but still be able to manipulate the world of the living Characters? No, thanks.
The only thing i could imagine is the ability to float through walls and through other solid objects, but not to move them.
But that is a issue of programming and depends on the urge to change that (or the possibility to change).
