Elaralith is at peace as she pins up a notice written in Common for all to hear:

To:
My friends, fellow citizens of Trollsbane, and even those who hate me and call me thier enemy...I have a great joy which I wish to share with you all! I have been touched by the goddess Elara she who is Wisest of all, and I now see the error of the ways in which I have been acting lately. I have asked the forgiveness of the gods and my goddess Elara, and now I must ask the forgiveness of you all. To you who I called "rogues" though you assaulted me now because of Elara's revelation I wish to forgive you and I no longer hold any enmity towards you. May you forgive me as well for not having more patience with you, and showing more kindness. Thank you for hearing me out, now that I am at peace!
May Elara bestow upon you Wisdom as she has done to me,

Touched by the goddess Elara I was, and now not only am I stronger in body because of you but stronger in mind and spirit because of Elara...I do not know how I came to be in that forest lying there but I believe that I was there weak because of the Vision from Elara that left me dazed by her awesome glory and wisdom and changed me forever.

Elaralith adds yet another notice on the boards, with a smile of joy on her face:

It truly is an amazing experience to be visited by a heavenly being. One cannot go through such miracles without a life-change. I would just like to share this great joy I have in my heart with you all, my friends. I admit, in these recent times I have been lost...strayed off the good path that I walked before in times past. But I have this great joy because by the grace of Elara through her personal counsel and guidance I have been able to set my feet back on that good path and walk it once again! I feel that I have grown spiritually because of these struggles, and I now walk again with happiness that good path of old. My greatest thanks goes towards my goddess and Counselor Elara, but I would like to also sincerely thank all my friends who kept by me in these times of trials for me and remained steadfast...helping me ultimately to come out of being "lost". Thank you! And may Elara guide you all as she does with me!

It is nice to see that with the help of Galadria and Elara that you saw what you are doing wrong. I have one concern, however. That concern is that days ago you apologized to me while we were in the forest, you said you would change your ways and you did, but only for a short while. I do forgive you, but the element of trust will take time to grow back.

Niniane hears of Elaralith's pleas for forgiveness and her apparent miraculous change after committing her worst crime to date. She walks to the boards with her scribe at her side, dictating a message to the lean elf for all to read:

Elaralith, I would like very much to believe that you have changed back to how you once were but that is something that an only be seen in time. I am truly afraid that this is just another of your lies or ploys to get back the friends you lost with your criminal and abrasive ways that are truly you and to use them against those who you hold a grudge against for selfish purposes. I wish for you to prove this wrong because I know how beneficial one such as you were months ago can be to our town of Trolls Bane but I also know how harmful one such as you have been lately can be. I want to believe you are better but even if you are, a simple apology is not enough to make up for what you have done to myself and others.

Even if you have been shown the light of Elara as you have said and are past your spiteful and hateful ways I can see no reason why you should be forgiven completely for your crimes. You viciously attacked Cain Freemont for awakening too close to you. You have committed many more punishable crimes but since you say you have changed your ways I can understand why a prison sentence for you would not be the best punishment. A self-imposed punishment would do well for you. It would let all of us who still doubt you see that you have indeed changed and you are remorseful for your prior actions. Many there are who do not feel your sincerity in these words of forgiveness that you speak. If you want us to forgive you then show us you have changed with your actions, if you want us to see that you are truly sorry for your past evils then please show us that you are humble and accept that you were wrong by doing something to show this. I would love to forgive you for all that you have done and accept you as truly changed but I can not forgive your past crimes so easily when you show no remorse other than words.

You must realize that there are many people looking up to you now since you have apparently righted your ship. Some with evil intent! There are murderers and other criminals who have now seen the way to complete forgiveness. A way to go without punishment! If a crime is committed in our town, the criminal must only proclaim they had a vision and have changed and no punishment will be rendered. This as you know cannot be the way of our land because it will be abused! The gods may take action but they may not. Please set an example for all others by punishing yourself in this, Elaralith. Those around you love you too much to do so, so you must do it yourself. I would suggest that you give your time to aid in the help of those you have harmed in these recent weeks. This would surely show you have changed and are worthy of forgiveness for your past actions and in time all may be forgiven and your reputation restored.

Good luck in your apparent change and in restoring your own reputation.

Astral walks up to the bulletin to see the news on his friend, and stumbles upon Niniane's message. He then writes back...

"I think Elaralith has had enough punishment apologizing to all those who she crossed. So I do not believe that all one has to do to right the wrong is claim they had a vision. If you look at it critically, that is all she did. But realistically, she had to realize what she had done and work to correct it, which I don't consider easy."

Elaralith I only asked you to do this for the good of others as well as the good of yourself. Apparently you have not changed as you say you have or you would care what sort of model you were being for them. Elara will once again be ashamed of you for not making up for your own mistakes! I will pray for you yet again. You know as well as I what the justice system in this small town is like. Mob-rule and petty henchmen. If you are not wise enough to sanction yourself for your past atrocities (lies, deceit, slander and even Murder!) then I fear that there may be some out in our lovely community who will wish to punish you themselves. Please do not take this as a threat, but as a warning from one woman to another. I do not trust you nor do I believe you have changed, but I do not want to see you hurt any more than I would want to see my greatest friends hurt. I can only warn you that if someone has taken offense to your actions and deemed them irreparable without due justice that you may be hunted by a real rogue who will take justice into their own hands and not stop until they are satisfied that you have paid the price for your crimes. The crime of murder can not be forgiven because you were had strayed from your path of good, if this is the case then all murderers should be allowed to walk free because they too have strayed from the path of good. The simple excuse that you have found your path again does not make up for murder. I am very sorry and wish you would reconsider before these terrible henchmen decide to take their justice to you instead of letting you assign justice to yourself.

I have already heard there is a reward for your justified killing! This is horrendous! Someone is offering 10 ingots to have you killed! I’m sure you’ll think it is I, but I swear to you that I would never sink so low as this nor do I want it to happen. If you are truly changed as you say you are you are a very valuable addition to our town in this time of need! I will do my best to find the culprit or originators of these atrocious acts and talk them out of this foul deed they wish to do. Yet as you well know I am not the best at talking those with bad intent out of there own thoughts and will to harm others. May the gods all protect you in your time of need. I can find no other words to give as a warning for what others may do to you if you do not make up for your past crimes, however. Apalled by the news in Niniane's notice, Astral jots down a quick message hoping that it will be read.

"The people who wish to take justice into their own hands will be little affected by the fact if justice has been done or not, they want personal revenge. To all those parties described above, please take this into consideration:

Elaralith may have committed serious crimes during recent times, but nothing justifies returning more criminal actions. This so-called "revenge" is merely an excuse to commit more crimes. Many people see through this cover you hide your actions under, so it would be wise on your part not to try and carry out "justice" yourselves. One wrong turn does not deserve another, two wrongs does not make a right; it has been put so many different ways, yet the message didn't get across?

So all I ask is this, do not hold grudges to the point where you will consider taking up arms to resolve your own problems."

Astral, you are right. I have died because of revenge and hatred for me. A mortals heart can't deal with that sort of pain. I chose to die because my heart was suffering from seeing my friends torn from me.. Cherga has been very kind in letting me return in hope of making a diffrence. I hope my death shows that anger because of one's mortality and non perfection should be laid in the hands of the true one's of that authority not mortals. Let those who have done no wrong in all their life tighten the noose on those whom are normal and have done wrong so that they can be punished...

((@Dyluck What Niniane posted in my opinion was just another lengthier repeat of what others have said, and I just don't think it the best roleplaying for someone intelligent as the player of Niniane has made her out to be would just like to repeat what has already been said. Very boring and expected, and not at all contributive to a lively RP in my perspective.))

((@Elaralith: I see nothing wrong with what Niniane posted. If she wants to play her character as someone who repeats what is previously said (I am not saying this is the case!), it is perfectly alright. Redundant or not, it still does contribute to RP. Try to calm down a little.))

I responded later due to the lack of a response from your character to my words to reiterate my views with more information added. I responded yet again to warn you of the death threat I heard about. I did not respond to letters sent nor did I respond out of uncontrollable anger, but did respond with a tone of distrust and with the tone of one who has been in her mind, unjustly hurt with no compensation which is understandable, with new ones coming after a length of time where no response to my prior messages were given by you. I hope you understand now. Sorry for the ooc in the rpg board but I was asked a questions that had to be responded to.))
