How about, if you don't use a skill for a long while, it slowly degrades and you lose about 10% of it.. slowly?

That has been brought up a few times.. I think what most threads have mentioned is allowing some of the skills particularly in crafting that earn no copper to be balanced first. Also there is at least one skill that is not usable in game at present waiting for the Druid system...if it will even be used then. There is also two opposing ideas at work with this.
1. Should skills be capped/limited at all
2. Should there be or not a class system.

I think that happened because of the skill-loss on deathHontus Ei wrote:If I remember right, I think that used to happen.. I'm not sure if it does. My memory may be faulty in both instances.

I don't like this suggestion. If I worked (pronouced pged) hard for skills I don't want them taken away for not Pging them anymore.

At this very moment Nitram is thinking: 'Well I could help Rince, and give him some more time, by deleting half of his skills on all his chars.'Rincewind wrote:Year I will get pissed about this!
With more than one Char. you haven't time for every skill.
Edit: almost forgot to comment on the proposal: If you need to put timestamps on them since they aren't there yet, as Nitram stated, then it's quite a bit of work for such a thing. Therefor I wouldn't do it. It isn't really a big issue.
