Random Crashes

Post by abcfantasy »

Since some time now (I suspect it happens since the last client update), my client crashes at seemingly random times. It crashed while trying to log on, it crashed while simply walking, opening a door, fighting and so on...

Each time, there's the following in the error log:

Code: Select all

Illarion Client V1.11 started Tue Oct 28 15:45:30 CET 2008
VM: 1.6.0_07
OS: Windows XP 5.1
Possible duplicate ID 1911455144 for Richard Martins
found ID 1755313688 for Richard Martins
Possible duplicate ID 1994122171 for Sebastian Spoonbreeze
found ID 1985793864 for Sebastian Spoonbreeze
Possible duplicate ID 767010112 for Vivian Lutan
found ID 1130763551 for Vivian Lutan
...
Sometimes, in addition to that long list of duplicate names, there's also:

Code: Select all

java.util.NoSuchElementException
	at java.util.LinkedList.remove(Unknown Source)
	at java.util.LinkedList.removeFirst(Unknown Source)
	at illarion.client.b.t.a(Unknown Source)
	at illarion.client.c.g.run(Unknown Source)
I recently updated my java to the latest version (update 10), and all it seemed to do was increase the frequency of the crashes (maybe it was a coincidence, but it crashed 3 times in the few minutes I played after the update).

Any help?
Thanks

I get the same problem. I've update java, unistalled it and put it back with no updates and still the same. Im running Vista 64x. I dont know if its just coincidence also but it seems to happen more when I am hopping in and out of the window, i.e to media player, MSN, web browser and back.

Thats a problem of the client happening on all systems. The graphic engine we are using currently is not stable.
There is nothing we can do about this right now.
