I agree. The people who work so hard, in my opinion, do have more the rights to a place in this world, but I think that because of all the power the rich people seem to have, there is not as much recognition towards those that work hard. The people living in the lap of luxury are taking the credit for the hard-working people. I'd love to debate this til the end of the world, but I think we should get back to topic before the moderators lock this thread...

Sorry to go off topic as everyone seems so inclined to do these days but I felt that a great injustice was done by Elaralith in her selective quotation of Cain Freemont's words in order to turn what he actually said into something completely different for her own benefit. What he said was this :

This is no ways a threat of a flame war for no reason at all. It is a promise of retaliation for insults or harsh words directed at him from Elaralith or any others. This is not what was quoted by Elaralith, only a portion of this was and the portion made it out to seem as though he were threatening a flame war based on a prior grudge to all things posted by a certain Elaralith. As you can see, this is not what was truly stated.

Please realize that you are a part of the flame wars whether you think so or not. You are only perpetuating the problem by responding to every post, or starting new ones as you do so often. From what I have seen it is you who begins the majority of these wars by being extremely rude and unkind to the other person behind the screen to start the conversation, and when they respond with a bad attitude or harsh words you do the same and go on later to blame them.

This add nothing to the betterment of Illarion and you are involved in nearly every one these flame wars in the past few weeks. If you want them to stop you should be the one to stop them. Do not respond to insults to you; only answer the questions they pose to you regarding their reservations or disagreements with your ideas in a clear and concise way, not in riddles. If you do this you will appear to be the better person and will have more people willing to do things for you, as of now you've turned a great many people against you and I can understand why. If you are the one who wants them to stop then you must be the one to stop them. You have a need to be the last one to post as if that will magically make you the victor in any discussion but this is not the case. It only makes them drag on and on to no end until they are locked and the original meaning of the post or proposal is lost to all, and no benefit will come from this. You know that as well as I.

I believe this is as much your fault as theirs and if you beg for them to be punished for their actions you should have an equal punishment levied on you by the moderators. I fear that the ideas you bring to the table will be lost if you can not control your anger and continue on these war paths of personal destruction you bring to other people, because of a board ban. Please take care of yourself as well as others from now on, be respectful to them and they will be respectful of you.

@Moderators Locking this thread would be a good idea to prevent the troublemakers from continually flaming, and starting flame wars, but I think further action needs to be taken on the troublemakers.

i am slowly turning to elaraliths side of this... i agree with bumbol, at first i was so happy to see people ganging up on elaralith, but i slowly relized that you all are teh exact same. Elaralith no doubt starts these but you guys do nothing to stop them. you guys tell eachother not to get off topic and not to flame eachother when that is exactly what you are doing. This is a flame war that none of you will win... obviously cain wont stop swearing and tell anyone else that comes in to stay out of this (me), crocket will pull up new point against elaralith, elaralith will reply by saying basically the same thing that she always says just in different words... maybe we should have a flame forum?? or maybe we should put the flame posts in a special forum for us all to look back and think "what the hell was i doing"

It all went downhill about a month ago, Salathe, when Elaralith decided to call me BIASED for my sudden change of view on an opinion that I had supported her on before. That is why I dont put up with her anymore and just lash back out at her. Because all she is capable of is the exact same thing I have been doing (up until my past three posts). It's not possible to choose sides when both parties, and both sides of the controversy are in the wrong. Something should be done about this. Players should regulate themselves first but if that does not work, as it does not seem to be working, then a moderator should step in and moderate. Not one side, but both. Only then will this stop. If Elaralith is allowed to keep posting and insulting and being for the most part, rude, to all other players, the flame wars will be never ending. If the ones who lash back are not reprimanded for their actions they will continue to do so (and there are many more than in this one single discussion who are for the most part anti-Elaralith because of her attitude and insults). Both sides are wrong, and one side admits to it while the other continues to deny involvement through a series of flames. That's a quandary in itself, but one that should be looked at in the same was as the one admitting to the wrongdoing. I would suggest a warning to both parties, or all parties as there are more than one speaking against Elaralith and in the next instance of this sort of flame war, if the people are repeat offenders they should be banned for a length of time. This is only my suggestion and as I have no voice in the matter, it will most likely be passed over but I can only offer my own two cents on the matter.

Regardless of how harsh, what I am saying SHOULD be said. If no one else is bold enough to say it, then I will. You are an annoying, repetitive, manipulative person. I dont care how annoying or rude I sound anymore, you've pushed me over the edge. Though I doubt you will learn anything from what I had to say, I thought I would try.
