I'm not sure if it's just a rumour, but I heard ships will be implemented some time in the future? If that's the case I suggest some gm make a ship model and invite people to make a "pirate" kind of screen shot or something. Would be cool

Also, if anyone lacks a "race" for a screenshot, I have a free char slot and can make a character of that race for the purpose of the screenshot:) So let me know if anyone needs any help:)

Planned screenshots:

-Crafting (crafting menu, chars in the Silverbrand workshop, display of many items)
-Noobia (very first login, for reference purposes)

I'd love to include a screenshot of a magical duell, with various spells present. So, in case our mage players find the time to hit the print screen key during their powergam, erm, training lessons, I'd appreciate this. The garden of the magic academy would be a nice spot to shoot such a screenshot.

Ich habe einmal einen doch noch relativ neuen Screenshot ausgepackt, der meines Erachtens nach das Potential hat ein wenig aufpoliert zu werden.

Ich frage einmal vorsichtig nach, ob dieser Screenshot, natürlich soweit aufgepeppt, dass er den Anforderungen entspricht (Rechtschreibfehler raus, Inventar aufräumen, Beidsprachig, mehr #mes, Vollbild, krativeres Gespräch), in den Rahmen des Gewollten fallen würde.

Das ist finde ich ein klasse Screenshoot. Besonders dieses Rücken an Rücken, um sich die bösen Gnolle vom Leib zu halten, ist super.

Ich denk mal die Bilder sind so an der Grenze aber es ist ja möglich das sie gefallen ^^

Keine der in den Bildern gezeigten Personen hat duch die gezeigten Aktionen nennenswerten Schaden davongetragen.

Aber für promotion Screenshots wäre es schön wenn man das wirlich Interface auch sehen würde, sprich das Inventar, das Textfeld etc

Illarion's graphics look really nice now, and I like the landscape in that last screenshot with the rocks and lava. Kinda makes me want to play, or at least wish the graphics were like that back when I was still playing.

Depends. As long as it becomes not obvious that there are so few avatars, it is OK. But seeing 5 humans on a screenshot might imply that everyone looks the same. Bad way of promotion I'd say.

Just a few images I have captured over the past month or two. They aren't anything spectacular, but still give a few more options. Most don't have names displayed because I would rather show the game, not the names of the people in it. That can be found out when people join. Sorry that most of them are just people standing around, it is rather hard to get actual action screenies without the screen looking cluttered.

Protip for promotional screenshots: on the part of the screen where it says "Welcome to Illarion: There are xx players online", replace numbers like "22" and "35", with something around the 50-60 mark

it's not entirely dishonest, as it *does* happen

Stuff like that will make far more difference to a prospective gamer, than whether the onscreen character says thee, ye, you or j00

(okay okay, maybe j00 is pushing it)
