How do you light torches. What use do they have?

Currently you can't use them. Wait for the light system

Currently you can't light them. But along with the hugh update that hopefully includes light into the game, there will be a update that allowes you to light torches and candles.

Possibility for crafters, selling different colored candles

? It would be nice if there was some way to delay the disappearance of them for a little, to allow candles to be set on tables for a half hour or so.

Not planned at the intoducing of the system

That highly depends on the skill of the one who created the candle.
