Missing File To Run Illarion

Okay, here's the deal. I went to open the Illarion.exe file on my computer. It said that the file "DDRAW.DLL" was missing. I download the .DLL file and still it wont work... Please, help me if you can.

The exact message is as follows:

The ILLARION.EXE file is linked to missing export DDRAW.DLL:DirectDrawCreateEx.

You are missing a file which links your programs to your videocrard

DDRAW = direct draw

Note: DDRAW3D or directdraw3d is very different to this, do not mess with any *.dll files

try reinstalling your Direct X or download a new one at:

www.microsoft.com/directx
Note: this is the OFFICIAL site to Direct X
or try deleting all your illarion files, dont delete your character folders, cut/paste them somewhere else. Re-unzip them and run them. OR try the previous step(delete illarion files) redownloading your illarion and unzip it.

I dont know maybe you installed the patch or something.

the only possible help is reinstalling directX...
(except if you tried to modify your client.. or a virus did or something like that.... in that case reinstalling the client would help)

Alright, thanks. I will try reinstalling DirectX. I don't know how my file came up missing at all... Kind of upsets me, but oh well. Thanks again for your help!
