Unable to log in - client say I'm already logged in

I am getting a message that I am already logged into the game and thus cannot log in at this moment. I was logged in and playing about 2.5 hours ago on a different computer than I am using now and am pretty sure I closed the client then. As I will not have access to that computer for at least 5 more hours to check, could one of the GMs please log my character out? If I forgot to close the client, I am sorry, I was not trying to PG.

That happend to me sometimes too.
Do this:
When you log out you on your pc you log out in the game.
Then you can log in, in your pc and then you can play illa

That is only true to some extent, Hendrik, at least if I just guessed right want you wanted to say.

Logging out/restarting your PC makes your OS try to close all currently running applications.
Closing the Illarion client, makes the Illarion client send a LogOut signal to the server, which in turn logs your character out.

If the connection between client and server got interrupted, the client cannot send the LogOut command to the server, thats why your character stays online for a set amout of time. This causes you to be unable to log in with the same character again, since he is already online.

What you are doing simply works, because the time you need to log back into your OS is probably enough time for the Illarion server to notice that there is no longer a connection to your client.
If that happens the server kicks the character all by himself.

Of course, all this is only valid if I understood you right.
