Autowalk question

Post by Achae Eanstray »

http://illarion.org/community/forums/vi ... =auto+walk

Is it a bug then? Reason I ask is four times now accidentally got in it, not quite sure how just yet.... but three times I had to log out to stop. The fourth time tried pressing different buttons and it finally stopped pressing the cap key. :?

I have noticed that if you alt-tab to open another window, like MSN for example, the auto walk freezes in the direction your character is walking when you go back to the game window. If you press the arrow key in the direction your character is already walking, you should regain control of things. Not sure what that caps lock thing is about. :?

I tried the arrow key, the char turns once then immediately turns back and starts the autowalk, if an object in the way the char will just keep turning rofl..... I have also had a char walk backwards for about three steps.

The trick is not to try to turn away. You have to intentionally walk a step in the same direction your character is already going before trying to turn. Then you should get unstuck. This has worked for me every time so far.
