Questions about game

Post by mustard »

Hey there, I tried to read wiki and manuals etc. but there are still couple big questions that disturb my playing. I'd be very grateful if you guys could give me some advice. :)

Okay so first I made a Smith which has pick-axe, but can he mine ore? I visited the copper mine and though I tried to stand in front of a rock and use pick-axe on it nothing happened so I'm very confused..

secondly I wonder if there is any NPC stores in the game? Like where could I have bags so I could carry more items?

These first, lost the other questions from my mind already :D but thanks for answering and I'm sorry if this topic seems pointless.

You can't get raw materials from every stone - try another one.
Be patient, new smiths need more trials than an expert.

Some time ago you could buy bags in Greenbriar, the old halflingstown.
The best way now is to ask other players - maybe you'll find a tailor.

more bags won't help you carry more at one time. your strength determines the weight you can carry. once you reach that weight it doesn't matter how many bags you have.

Look for yellow chests, called "Depot". You can store items inside. In brown chests, your items will decay. In each town, there is a depot, so you cannot retrieve the items your stored in town A from the depot in town B. Just ask around nicely for the location, e.g. by emoting that you carry a huge burden, huffing and puffing and asking for a good place to store your wealth.
