Auction:
I have updated the Auction items for this week. See the first page of out board. ((Page 1)) The large auction last week found a few lucky souls! Many items sold for only 50 coppers! The Pirate's Treasure map sold for 4 silvers, and a piece of Pure Air went for a mere 10 Silvers!
Woe to all you who forget and miss out on these wonderful deals!!!
I will not strain myself beyond this weekly update to inform everyone of these auctions. I believe the 'deals' speak for themselves and truly award those who pay attention. Our buying service is also 'underused'. I Pity those who do not attend. Enough said.
Status:
Sir Strongarm's order has been delivered, and Lexis and Julius have yet to contact me concerning their orders which are complete.
With the 'Leather Order' delayed, we are currently 'orderless'.
If a Guild or settlement desires bulk materials, now is a good time to order.
Many Thanks,
~Chester Copperpot

I no longer represent any settlement, guild, or town. However, seeing as how you are short of business I sure could use:

I suppose if it is absolutely required, could I represent myself as a member of Merri's Game House?

I would love to fill your order, however a 'voice of conscience' says no.
Allow me to explain.
At first, I accepted orders from anyone, however had to restrict orders only to Guilds and towns due to the immense orders I was recieving and the backlog of a waiting list.
Logically, if I had to restrict orders, lets make those order benefit the 'most' people possible aka Guilds and towns. Also it provides an indirect 'benefit' to being a member of a Town or Guild. The proceeds of all our work at C.O.W.S. goes to our Guild as a whole. So....it's like "Guild to Guild" Trading, hence the very "Cheap" prices.
Since then I have had to turn down orders from other 'unaffiliated' persons, some of them friends even. It wouldn't be fair to them to change now.
If they are not a 'known' representative of their Guild or Town, I always ask for the 'requester' to ask their government for permission to 'order' in their name. They may need for you to be a member first. I don't care who orders, but it must benefit the 'town or Guild' as a whole. Some towns have 2-3 active members collecting materials and they work together, each ordering parts as they can afford it. I am sure your Gaming House would benefit Trollsbane, but it is not technically a Guild yet, so you'd need the Government's permission to represent 'them'.
Also, a fine dwarf named 'Tanalon' has started a "Dwarven mining Company" ((Also in RPG Board)). He has no need to restrict as I do and may be able to fill your order independently.
I hope to hear that permission soon, but understand if you remain 'unaffiliated'.
Good luck!
~Chester

Sorry folks,
No Auction this week. I am still attending to the recovery of a friend. Next week's end we'll make up for this with all manner of 'useful' goods such as Iron ingots, handles, sword handles, buckets and bottles to name just a few.
((My son's 2nd Birthday is Sunday and I got people visiting.))

~As Chester struggles for air, Oliver and Rukka help him out~
Chester splutters
"Who put that Mule poo there!"
Chester glares at his mule "Dragonbait", who blinks, then looks away at a butterfly.
Chester thanks them for their help as he squishes in his boots.
"Damn I need to change now!"
Chester discussed a new time for the auction, and they all agreed on the next dwarven day, since two other members had left.
((Auction postponed until Monday 12pm CST//7pm GMT))
Chester thanked them and led "Dragonbait" away. By the door, Chester pulled a branch from a cherry tree, weighed it in his hands and grinned evilly at "Dragonbait".
Dragonbait shivers with fright.

Sorry Folks!
Due to significant damage by the Hurricane last night, I'll have to postpose this week's auction.
((Server's down, and I don't have more time today))
I'll try to reschedule it for a few dwarven days from now.
((Wednesday evening 10pm CST))
Thanks and good luck with the clean up!

I apologize for missing the auction today!
I was caught in the Ogre Hills, and couldn't get out in time! I did finally manage to escape to send this dove.
((Sorry, RL work had a medical emergency, and I had to stay until he was admitted to Hospital.))
To make up for it, we'll plan something bigger for next week. Some 'festival' of sorts as well as our auction. We'll post details in the coming days.
In Service,
~Chester Copperpot

No auction this week.
The Dwarves of Goildburg and it's other citizens need to meet about important issues, and time is limited.
We are still planning a festival, but it will have to wait until next week.
In Service,
~Chester Copperpot
P.S. There is no waiting for 'Bulk Orders', so get your order placed quickly before winter arrives!

One Final Auction!
C.O.W.S. shall be closing, and selling the "Glassworks" theater.
Goldburg is changing and becoming a part of Silverbrand, and therefore cannot maintain an 'embassey' any longer.
Our final Auction shall be posted on these doors as an open auction, and concluded at the time of our 'usual' auction this week.
((Ends Sunday 2pm CST//7pm GMT))
To bid, you must be a citizen or resident of Trollsbane, and not have owership in another building or Guild. The Theater was built for the people of Trollsbane and shall remain so.
Final Bid wins!
Thank you,
~Chester Copperpot
Do I hear anyone start with a bid of 1 Gold Piece?

I'm sorry, but even at my "Good" C.O.W.S. Prices, that adds up to a bid of only 25 silvers. Not enough to beat the current bid of 1 gold piece.Faladron wrote:I wish to place an order of 100 goldnuggets for the settlement of Caelum.
