Manual

Post by Kragmar »

When I downloaded the latest version of the client, I didn't get a manual or a tutorial. I really don't need it, I still have the ones from previous clients if I did. I was just wondering why this wasn't included. It was helpful to me when I started and would probably help the newer people as they were starting off. Does anyone know anything about this?

There is no manual that is up to date.

Dennoch könnte man das "veraltete" Manual dazunehmen, oder? Dann haben Anfänger wenigstens eine ungefähre Vorstellung vom Spiel. Weiss jemand, wo ich das alte Manual herbekomme?

Anyway, you could leave the old manual, don't you? For then newbies already know a little bit about the game. Does anyone know where to get the old one?

Cuderon has an old manual. It teaches you the basics, though it is not updated.

"With a name like that"?
Hmm, i thought i'd already say somewhere this Name isn't my ingame-name. But i can also remember now, that i posted it only in german. So for you once again: This is NOT the name i'll use in the game.

(If i will ever get an account at all)

Handbuch

Manual

Post by DMan »

I feel your pain, HenryEX! :(

Illarion looks like a very interesting RPG, but I am a bit concerned about entering the game without reading the basics from a manual first. I expect my first couple hours of "role-playing" will be figuring out the interface; which is something I could have done while waiting for my account to activate.

someone posted a website once that had some excellent newbie information on Illarion. How to work the interface and so forth.

I can't remember what it was though.
Any one else know?

fooser's site - info for those waiting for activation

Here's the link to fooser's site:
http://www.geocities.com/illarion2/index.htm

I've only looked for 2-3 minutes, but the info has been good so far.
