Nailed up on various fenceposts and walls throughout Trolls Bane are a series of posters that read:
Recruiting Mercenaries!
The Grovestriders Mercenary Band are openly recruiting all willing fighters. Combat skill does not matter; any recruits lacking skill will be trained accordingly. Recruits will be provided with basic equipment if needed. Please contact Slazf Kruvkva in person, or send a dove regarding an interview time. A public interview will be held at the Bane tavern on the fourth of Ronas ((Sunday July 27th 7:00 GMT)) for all wishing to join.

Hmm, I tend to disagree, mister wolf. I and my friends in the guild beleive that our organization provides mutual benefit for any member. It gives the members a supportive union-like shell when encountering disagreements; It allows members to more easily group together for jobs that require larger numbers than one; It offers employment and reputation among potential employers; It gives training and equipment to recruits; and it promotes friendship and unity among the previously freelance mercenaries of Gobiath. Also, it does not restrain a freelance mercenary from going his own path; since it only demands a 10% fee from money made through guild-offered jobs, and in no way holds a mercenary to do any offered job. -only if they accept a job are they expected to arrive for it- All in all, I see only benefits provided to entrees, and an empty void where the more unfavorable traits of some guilds would go. If you still beleive that it is more profitable to stay a single mercenary, then you are the fool. Also, it is not wise to openly speak ill of Altrix, Shingo, Darius, Joxia, Arelas, Astar, Amaria, Julius, Mattin, Draken, or myself. I hope to see no more of your foolish comments, for any more and this board will surely be dripping with idiocy.

Your group may well promote 'friendship' and 'unity', i was pointing out that you can make more money on your own. A 10% fee is still a fee. Id rather take all the profits for my work for myself. As for speaking ill of people, what your members do are their business, but you yourself are definitely a fool if you think you can intimidate me by using their names.
If people want unity, friendship, equipment, training and the ability to group togethor for jobs, kallahorn is still around, and we arent led by some lizard pulled of the streets. We dont take 10% of your money either.

Mister Wolf, I am not a rich man. What the fund makes goes towards the guild. All of the members agree with it, or else I would not have the fee; since it only goes towards recruitment and eventual construction.
Overall though, a freelance mercenary makes more money in the guild, since there is a full stream of job opportunities. You are the fool, and with such a single-minded and critical attitude, you yourself most likely would be better off alone. The Kallahorn have an alliance with the Grovestriders, and I would advise you do not pull that string just because of your personal opinions.
